Fully exclusive-use, Pylewell becomes your home for your wedding where you can stay in the gorgeous stately bedrooms amongst close friends and family.
The house sleeps 26 guests with 10 quirky bedrooms named after the children of the family, and a further 3 bedrooms in the Penthouse – where you can stand out on the roof terrace and take in the fabulous views. Begin your wedding stay with outdoor dining under festoon-lights and sail structures, overlooking the Solent, before you wake up to a breakfast catered by the Pylewell team, setting you up for your wedding day from the start!
Pylewell House itself is glamorous…studded with chandeliers, stunning wallpaper, and nods to the grand history with 17th century beginnings!
The drawing room holds indoor ceremonies for up to 130 guests, accommodating an additional 50 in the dining room. The house can be used for beautiful winter weddings for more intimate numbers, with fires roaring in the background.
Waltzing out of the drawing room doors you will be met with sweeping sea views as you explore the gardens and grounds. Our Main Sail provides a soft canopy to cover up to 180 guests as you say your vows, or you can opt for a more intimate ceremony on the Circular Lawn tucked amongst stunning florals.
For a blank canvas, walk all the way down to the Black Gates where the Solent sits at eyeline, and guests may see a ship sail through the tree line every now and then!
A nod to the historic ballroom, sadly knocked down in the 1950s, our party Pavilion is your reception haven with a built in bar, and spacious dancefloor to party the night away!
Floor to ceiling glass windows and doors let in the light (and the views) as one of our handpicked partnered caterers provides delightful dining Drinks can flow all day with a bring your own drinks option to make sure your refreshments are exactly as you wish!
With over 1500 acres to make use of, there is an endless list of photo-spots. Make the most of golden hour lighting up the fields, head down to our private-access beach, or tuck yourselves away in our Victorian greenhouses for those picture-perfect moments.
