Yarlington Barn occupies an integral part of Dobunni Farm - a working cider farm set among a series of picturesque lakes, including pretty water-features and fountains.

Proprietor Mark Gibson and his family run the enterprise, which also functions as a conference and events centre, along with operating their on-site farm shop. They are proud makers and purveyors of their very own brand of cider - Old Dobbie Medium - using fruit harvested, pressed and fermented from their productive orchards.

The Kingston Room

Perfect for civil marriage or partnership ceremonies, this space is able to seat up to 80 guests to witness you and your partner exchanging rings and vows.

The Lakeview Room

This appropriately-named suite allows you and up to 120 of your guests to bask in the superb views across the lake. The room presents an excellent blank canvas, with exposed beams, bright walls and a few rustic 'farm features' including cider-barrels and (now) decorative obsolete farmyard equipment in evidence; you can decorate the space exactly how you see fit. The Lakeview Room is also equipped with its own bar.

Evening Receptions

When the formal meal draws to a close, you can then take full advantage of both the above spaces to provide room for dancing and an evening buffet for up to 180 guests for an informal hog roast or buffet. This is where the Lakeview Room's bar, which appropriately stocks a wide enough range of different ciders to warrant its own separate cider menu, comes into its own.

Standard hire runs until midnight, but you can extend the evening celebrations until a final curfew of 2am for an additional surcharge of £150 per hour.

Catering

The cuisine at Yarlington Barn truly demonstrates the copious variety of Somerset's home-grown produce. With a wide range of locally-sourced ingredients adorning the menus, such as Somerset roast breast of chicken wrapped in Serrano ham, topped with the farm's own cider sauce, or the Local Farmhouse ham, roast beef and turkey for a more informal cold buffet selection, a sumptuous spread is always guaranteed.

Food is produced and served by Yarlington Barn's in-house catering company, who also provide extras such as a hog-roast or a hot or cold buffet for the evening party.
