Wellington School is located in Wellington, Somerset, conveniently positioned only 5 minutes from the M5 motorway. Wellington School certainly has the wow factor, the buildings are steeped in history and the original features provide a classic setting to celebrate your wedding.

The versatile spaces can host small intimate celebrations through to spectacularly grand affairs for over 220 people. The pièce de résistance is The Chapel, with an intricately decorated ceiling, bright blue floor and carved wooden wall panels. The Chapel can seat 240 in pews, which face one another, making it the perfect location for a religious ceremony or blessing.

The Chapel

For a religious ceremony in The Chapel, you will need to be an old pupil of Wellington School, or have a connection to the school, as stipulated by the Church of England.

If you have no connection to the school, but have fallen in love with this space, then you can have a blessing here – this is open to anyone.

You can choose between three reception spaces.

The Great Hall - capacity for 150 guests

The Alan Rogers Centre (ARC) - capacity for 150 guests

Marquee on the lawn - capacity for 200+ guests. Please note if you'd like a marquee reception you'll need to hire a marquee as there isn't a permanent structure throughout the year.

couples would need to hire a marquee of their choosing, we don’t have a marquee erected year-round
