  We cannot recommend Walton Castle enough as a wedding venue. It’s beautiful and we lost track of how many compliments we received on the day. Margarita and Mandy (and also Carly and co on the wedding day itself) were wonderful from start to finish, from the pre-planning to the day they were there and we felt confident that we were in good hands. The castle itself and the turrets are beautiful and beautifully presented - we definitely recommend making the most of the venue and staying a day or two beforehand as it truly is incredible.

  Despite having lived in the area most of my life, I had never heard of Walton Castle before we started looking for a wedding venue, and what an absolute find it was. As soon as we met Mandy and Margarita for the initial viewing, we knew it was the place where we wanted to get married. We hired the venue from the Friday to the Monday and then had a blank canvas to work from, meaning we could create the perfect day for us. Having never planned a wedding before, the Walton Castle team shared their knowledge and guidance, emailed across a list of potential suppliers as a starting point for us and made the whole process clear and manageable. Mandy and Margarita were extremely responsive to emails and texts and helped in any way they could. On the wedding day itself, Neil and Mandy were brilliant. They made sure everything ran smoothly behind the scenes, ensured there were plenty of drinks to keep the guests happy, and were on hand whenever needed.
  
  We wouldn't have had such the perfect day without them. What makes Walton Castle so special is that it gives you the freedom to create a day that’s entirely your own. It was the perfect setting for our wedding; magical, memorable, and was honestly the best party ever. We can’t recommend it enough for anyone planning a wedding, or any type of celebration.

  Our family had a wonderful week at Walton Castle! It was a dream come true and we were sad to leave. The castle is beautiful and everything we could expect from staying in a historical spot. The staff were truly helpful and friendly, always responsive to our needs. The children ran freely and played in our private outdoor area which was lovely. The castle is beautifully kept.

  Myself and my husband had our wedding at Walton Castle in June 2025. It was such an amazing day. From start to finish, the process was easy. We went for a viewing at Walton after our first venue went into administration. We met with Margarita who explained how the day would work and what we would need to do. They provided us with a list of recommended suppliers which is how we found our caterer. The whole team were so helpful and friendly. Answering any questions we had along the way.
  
  I would only advise that you will need to coordinate some things on the day if you don’t have a wedding coordinator. We didn’t have one but this didn’t affect the running of our day and Mandy was on hand if we needed anything.
  
  The actual day went so smoothly and we couldn’t have asked for more.
  
  I would highly recommend Walton Castle for your wedding.

  Wow – what a hidden gem! We held our wedding celebration here at the end of May and had the most incredible couple of days! We viewed the beautiful castle in July last year and were taken aback by the stunning views of the golf course across to the sea. The castle itself has been renovated so thoughtfully, and Mandy and Margarita were incredibly helpful and enthusiastic. A DIY wedding is not for the faint-hearted but Mandy & Margarita have the knowledge and experience to help you through but ensure that all expectations of the castle are made present to you e.g. number of drinks you can provide yourselves on the day, staffing of the venue, rubbish removal, cost of corkage/alcohol bought through the venue, furniture available for use. The venue is sold with a dream of making your day exactly how you want it to be from booking your own caterers, musicians and activities that make it truly unique and special to you as a couple. We booked the castle for a 3-day break which became a mini family holiday for us all. The castle accommodation enabled family and the bridal party to all stay on site. The groom and his groomsmen enjoyed the ‘boys’ room’ which had a downstairs games room complete with dart board and pool table. On our arrival day the groom and 15 friends and brothers went down the driveway to the picturesque Clevedon Golf Club where they spent the day golfing together. The girls were left to their own devices to enjoy the castle and set up for the wedding day to follow. Domino’s was delivered, wine drunk and a few took a swim in the underground pool which is a great addition to the accommodation. On the day of the wedding Neil, Carly, Emma and Mandy made sure a good time was had by all and were there to lend a hand if required. They did a great job of keeping the bar going all day and ensured guests were topped up with welcome drinks. Our suppliers were fantastic, and Mandy was on hand if there were any questions as some were unfamiliar with the venue. We had a fantastic guitarist and singer, Pat McIntyre, during our service and drinks reception which was so lovely in the sunshine watching the kids join in. We hired a crazy golf course from local Ace Mini Golf, our catering was carried out by Big Pan Parties who were able to set up seamlessly outside the castle gate and their food was delicious! We also hired an ice cream bike from Sevanetti Ice Creams which was a big crowd pleaser and had The Riff Dogs play to get the party started (note that no music can be played outside after 10pm). We would also recommend hiring portable toilets as there is only one dedicated guest bathroom. The joy of this being a blank canvas was that we could make the day personal to us. The bride’s father carried out the ceremony, friends and family made cakes and arranged flower displays – it was all hands-on deck! We highly recommend hosting your wedding day or even a special family celebration at Walton Castle. It truly was the most special day.

  We got married at Walton Castle in May and it was a delight. The castle and the surrounding grounds were beautiful, especially with the flowers in bloom. The team there were extremely helpful and on hand to help with anything and everything, and their connections and recommendations for vendors were fantastic. Our wedding was pulled off without a hitch and we all had lots of fun! We would definitely recommend Walton if you want a fun and relatively stress free wedding run by a top, top team of wedding experts.

  You cannot improve perfection. Honestly it was amazing from the youngest 6 yrs old up to me 70 yrs old we all said the same amazing weekend allowing togetherness in a beautiful setting freedom relaxation beauty . Although it is someone's home we were allowed to be in all corners of this gorgeous place that we felt we belonged. I'm wanting to make future bookings because we are a close family but live distances from each other and this was a chance to all get together relax have fun play games and be what life should be .   Found the castle via a friend and we knew it was the place for us to get married. It ticked every box. We didn’t look anywhere else. Margarita welcomed us with open arms. Was realistic and truthful which impressed us as this was a second marriage for both of us and we could put our own mark on it. We met Mandy a few times before the big day and she was responsive, friendly and fabulous. Check in was easy and both Neil and Carly went above and beyond. Unfortunately Storm Darragh arrived for the big day but the castle stood firm, the guests mainly all made it, the stretch tent held its own and everyone had the best day.
  
  The pool was great. The games room a big hot and I loved the living room in the keep. A perfect place for Christmas movie on the Sunday afternoon.
  
  If you want a place to wow, go do your own thing then this is it.

  We recently got married at Walton Castle and can honestly say it’s a truly magical place. The We got married in August this year, and we couldn’t have wished for a more perfect and beautiful venue!
  
  It was the only venue we visited, and we were immediately sold. The atmosphere is incredible, and every direction you look, it’s stunning.
  
  Margarita and Mandy and the team were welcoming from the start to finish and they were easy to get hold of throughout our planning process. We recommend getting agreements in writing from the beginning, especially regarding corkage, numbers of guests, and other policies and details, as these seemed to change over the months. Additionally, it's important to note that amplified music is not allowed outside the castle walls and cannot be played in the courtyard past 10 PM. We were misled about this in the initial stages and faced a setback when we were told this 2 weeks before the wedding and our application for a temporary license was rejected. But Margarita helped us pull it all together in the end, and it worked out fine as we made alternative arrangements with the band and then had a great time playing music all night in the sound proof dance room.
  
  The entire estate is breathtaking; the courtyard is perfect for the ceremony, the bedrooms are comfortable, and the pool is great. The dance room, which has no curfew, is definitely a highlight! We would love to book again for another event in the future.
  
  We’re forever grateful for such a perfect venue and have the best memories!

  We recently got married at Walton Castle and can honestly say it’s a truly magical place. The Castle itself has been restored and updated giving it an historical but modern feel. The way it sits in an elevated position with the stunning surroundings makes it feel like something out of a fairy tale. Every one of our guests were completely blown away. We initially met Margarita who is the owner of the castle, and we immediately liked her. She is extremely welcoming and gave us a much longer meeting than we initially booked. She gave us the history, a tour, what to expect and discussed with us our wedding plans. I could see in my now wife’s eyes, we had found our venue. Walton Castle is not what you’d expect. Once booked you have the place to yourself. Your very own castle for the time you have booked it. A unique venue and can’t be many like it in the UK. The wedding preparation itself was made a lot easier by Margarita and Mandy. They are able to recommend caterers, florists, DJ’s ….anything to do with the day. Mandy met with my wife a number of times prior to the wedding day to discuss layout, lighting options, music etc. Mandy was also present on our wedding day to ensure it all ran smoothly. She is lovely and well versed in weddings! Neil is the caretaker/manager of Walton Castle and has been for 30 years. He keeps the place spotless and extremely well kept. Nothing he doesn’t know about the place and is on hand when you arrive and is a call away if you need anything. A really nice chap who was very patient when I kept forgetting where all the outside light switches were. If you are looking for a wedding venue don’t bother, you’ve found it. If it’s not available on your date, move your date! You won’t regret it. My wife and I feel privileged we got married at Walton Castle.   We got married here on the 20th July and despite the rain, a really great day was had by all. Our guests couldn’t believe that we had the castle from Friday morning to Sunday afternoon all to yourselves!
  
  We met the team previously and sorted everything out for the wedding day, was given a list of vendors and recommendations which was great as we really had no idea of where to begin!

  We recently had our wedding at the castle and had an amazing time. The venue is absolutely beautiful and wowed our guests which was particularly nice as some of them had travelled very far. The castle feels very private as is hidden on top of a hill with lovely views. Margarita and Mandy were always available to help and answer any queries throughout the planning process, which was appreciated as planning a wedding can be very stressful. Neil met us on arrival and was very helpful with our vendors, at one point driving back to the castle within about 10 minutes when we had a problem.   We had my daughter’s wedding at Walton Castle Clevedon last weekend, we didn’t even know the venue existed. From the moment we met the owner we knew this was the venue for us everything was all about the bride and groom nothing was too much trouble. We arrived on the Friday and left on the Sunday and every moment we were there it was magical, the rooms were fantastic, on the Friday we all sat around the large round table in the kitchen laughing and enjoying ourselves. The day of the wedding was brilliant everything went so smoothly and my daughter had everything she wanted, the staff couldn’t have been nicer going above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly I would recommend it to anyone it really is a magical place and we now have some amazing memories thank you Walton castle.

  I had the good fortune to recently spend several days here for a wedding. A beautiful castle set in a scenic landscape… we had a fabulous time. The rooms are fitted out to a very high standard with thought and care for comfort. The grounds man (Neil) and the bartender (Matt) were both incredibly helpful and ensured everything went smoothly!   What an amazing venue, what amazing staff and our wedding day was even more amazing. Right from day one, communication between ourselves and Margarita and Mandy was spot on, any worries or questions we had we just rang margarita and she gave us answers straight away, we were able to visit the castle on numerous occasions and sit down and discuss our big upcoming day with them both and felt completely reassured before we left. Nothing was a problem for Margareta we were even allowed our beloved dogs at the castle so they could be involved in our special day. We stayed for 3 nights and had a fantastic time. The wedding went fantastically and all our guests were overwhelmed by the beauty of the castle and grounds. Neil was such a brilliant help, he helped us unload our car on day one and even helped carry our things up to the bridal suit at the top of the castle, showed us everything we needed to know like light switches, keys etc. Thank you so much Neil. Matt and Emma on the bar exceeded themselves by being so friendly, helpful and so entertaining, all our guests loved them and nothing was a problem to them even the nagging children for more drinks, Matt and Emma you are stars and a credit to the castle. Even our tortoise had great fun walking around the grounds. We had the best time ever and did not want to leave, to top off the experience as we left a baby deer was walking up the drive, Walton castle is full of beauty inside and out.   From the minute we walked into the Castle, we knew this venue was for us. It is in such a magical peaceful and serene spot and has been renovated by Margarita and her team to a fabulous standard.
  
  One big selling point for us was Margarita said from the start that you pay to hire the castle and then it’s up to you to do whatever you want for your big day. She offered us her list of suppliers and recommended to get wedding insurance but, also made it clear if we wanted to use our own suppliers we could. It meant we had the freedom to be as creative as we wanted.
  
  In the build-up to the day, you can have as many meetings/phone calls with Margarita or Mandy as you need/want. Both Margarita and Mandy were always very willing to allow us to pay a visit for whatever reason. On the weekend itself, we were greeted by Neil the caretaker who kindly showed us round the castle, helped us set up our party tent we had purchase for the day, and even helped carry our bags into the castle. He didn’t leave until he checked we were OK with everything.
  
  The day itself was even better than we could ever imagine. All the companies we have sources and hired for the day were great and Matt, the bar manager was simply fabulous. So many guests commented on how nice, lively and bubbly he was. Matt was even messaging and calling us the week before to check in and see how we were doing.
  
  The pool and the garden games were great. It meant that the day after the wedding we could do a little pool party and BBQ with our close friends and family. The children loved the pool.
  
  None of us ever wanted the weekend to end, it was absolutely perfect from start to finish.
  
  We ensured the place was spotless before we left and the security deposit was returned no problem what's so ever. Margarita, Mandy, Neil and Matt were a fab team and we appreciated all their help with the big day. If you want a wedding where you have freedom to make the day what you want, this is the perfect place for you. Just wish we could have our time and day again.

  What a venue! We fell in love with the castle on a rainy, misty October day and we had our wedding here on Easter Saturday 2017. We'd viewed a couple of places before and apart from the castle being absolutely stunning, it was the attitude of Tracey and the staff that made us know booking it was the right choice. We booked the venue for 4 nights and really made the place our home.
  
  The team at Walton Castle can be as involved in the planning as you want them to be. We wanted a very personal wedding and so chose to do a lot ourselves but Tracey was always at the end of the phone when we needed some advice. Our guests were amazed by the castle and we are already trying to think of reasons we can go back there again as we had such an amazing time. Thank you to Tracey, Neil and the team at Walton Castle. We couldn't have found a nicer venue for our wedding or met a nicer team in the process. We will be back!

  We got married here this weekend and really can't have imagined a better venue. From the moment I went to visit the Castle I fell in love with the setting. Being able to hire the whole place for the weekend was just perfect, we were able to enjoy it over the three days and it became a home away from home. Tracey and Neil are both amazing, Neil especially on the weekend of our wedding couldn't have done any more or been more accommodating, he was the perfect barman/caretaker who even drove some people back to their hotel at the end of the night! If you want a private wedding full of your own touches then Walton Castle is the perfect choice!

  We had our wedding here and absolutely loved it. Perfect venue to give a grand but also homely feel. You can bring in your own caterers, drinks and entertainment so it's really an opportunity to make the day/weekend personal to you. If you have the castle for the weekend it also means the day doesn't need to end (!) and your nearest and dearest can stay in the castle with you. Beautiful and unique venue that received many rave reviews from our guests.

Not only an amazingly beautiful setting but a team that will help you every step of the way to give you what you need from your dream day. Unlike the 'conveyer belt' venue, you can really value and feel how this Castle is just yours. Yours only to enjoy and hold your special memories. Walton Castle is special, full of character, unique and so welcoming. If you want a wedding with a difference that is 100% personal and unique to you, well this is the venue for you.   Walton Castle is a beautiful venue with incredible staff. It is also unique in the respect that there are very few limitations so we were able to shape a bespoke wedding day that was a perfect fit for us, and our guests.
  
  Franco's vision for the castle was infectious and our first viewing with him planted the seed of inspiration for our day. Tracey and Neil went above and beyond to help and guide us through the planning process, to prepare the castle for us and our guests and to ensure that everything ran smoothly on the day. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble and the service that they provided was personal, friendly and knowledgeable.
  
  We can't thank the team at Walton Castle enough for all that they did to ensure that we had the perfect day that we'd dreamed of - all we need now is another reason to host another event there!
