Delightfully situated in the heart of Frome, Rook Lane Chapel offers a beautiful and flexible venue for exceptional civil marriage or partnership ceremonies.This magnificent Grade I-listed building dates back to 1707, and has been home to Rook Lane Arts Trust since the renovation of the chapel in 2002.
The chapel's professional wedding coordinator will be on hand to help you plan out your day and ensure proceedings flow seamlessly from start to finish. The chapel is able to accommodate bespoke civil wedding ceremonies with up to 200 guests, after which a delightful glass of bubbly and canapés could be enjoyed on the picturesque grounds outside.
Rook Lane Chapel was originally constructed and consecrated as a place of worship for Non-conformists in 1707. However, numbers slowly declined over the years, until the chapel was eventually closed in the 1960s.
After undergoing extensive renovation, the chapel opened once more in 2002, and is now the home of Rook Lane Arts Trust, a brilliant gallery and arts centre dedicated to attracting the very best visual and performing arts to engage, entertain and educate the local community.

Fully equipped with a state-of-the-art sound system and full theatrical lighting, the venue is more than capable of facilitating a live band, and the lovely chapel itself has fantastic acoustics should you wish to hire a romantic unamplified group to play you up the aisle.
Natural light floods the spacious chapel through wonderful floor-to-ceiling windows, and Rook Lane's devoted wedding coordinator Claire will advise and inspire you with creative decoration ideas.
After your ceremony has taken place, you and your guests will be able to indulge in a glass of bubbly in the venue's modern café area, or wander out into the landscaped gardens to pose for some very stylish wedding photographs in front of the stunning Queen Anne facade.
