We just wanted to say thank you so very much for doing such a fabulous job to arrange all the catering for our wedding weekend, the food was superb and one of our guests (who works in events planning!) said it was the best wedding meal he'd ever had!
The lamb was cooked perfectly and the menu choice worked really well on such a lovely summer afternoon.
From the start you made everything so easy for us, accommodated all our special requests and made the entire process seamless. We had the best day ever and I wish we could do it all over again! 10 year anniversary party maybe..!

We owe you all the biggest thank you for helping to deliver the most perfect wedding day we could have ever wished for. From the moment we first saw Pennard House we knew it was where we wanted to get married. The staff from our first viewing have been absolutely incredible, extremely attentive and nothing has ever been too much. They have always replied promptly and offered advice when asked.
Fast forward to being allocated to our Wedding Coordinator, Charlie. He has been absolutely fantastic, nothing has been too much of an ask. We met Charlie the day before to finalise logistics but everything was in hand. Our actual wedding day couldn’t have gone any smoother, we absolutely loved every single minute of it and wish we could do it all over again.
Thank you doesn’t seem enough for everything you and your team have done to bring our day together. We are extremely grateful for everything you have done and would highly recommend anyone to have their wedding at Pennard House, it simply is a magical venue.

Just a little note to say THANK YOU so much for everything you did to help make our wedding everything we were hoping it to be and more. From the first time we visited, we knew it was the perfect venue for us- the fact that the house became a home away from home for our family over the course of the weekend, the gorgeous gardens, the layout of the Coach House and its understated yet beautiful design.
What we couldn’t have predicted was just how incredible the whole team was. Lucy- thank you so much for all of your help in the build up, you let no stone unturned and we were so appreciative of you answering all of our millions of questions! Then, during the weekend itself, Lucy & Ellie you were THE BEST! Working behind the scenes to make sure everything just happened, going above and beyond with it all- including our “indoor or outdoor” decision right up to the wire and making sure Sam’s mum recovered from my dad’s drinks assassination before the ceremony!
We had so many comments from our family about how helpful and lovely you were and we couldn’t agree more. We have such special memories of our magical wedding at Pennard House, a huge thanks to you all for everything you did to help make it was it was.

Your home became our home for the most magical weekend of our lives. Pennard House is the most spectacular place, we are so grateful for everything it is. We never saw any other wedding venues, because, frankly, why bother!?
You have created a venue that is a home, that is probably because it has always been a home and with that you have built up an incredible team which all feel like family.
Lucy is a superstar! We adore her and are still so grateful she was our wedding director. Her attention to detail and patience was second to none, and of course this came with her smile and warmth. Lucy worked so hard throughout the day and night to make sure our wedding was our dream day, she made everything look effortless and definitely went above and beyond. We cannot thank her enough.
To top it off, we also had Ellie on hand to help us. Ellie is the most hardworking and kind individual who only wanted to make sure everything was perfect. I know we tested her at least once, like when Friday night's dinner was pushed back, but she never made it a problem. Ellie was a smile when we were nervous, someone to help with the finishing touches - simply amazing.
We hope the rest of your year continues to be filled with amazing weddings and events, and we hope to come visit soon.

My husband and I got married at Pennard House three weeks ago and had the most perfect day. Pennard House itself is stunning and allowed us to have the wedding we had always wanted - we could stay the night before and the night of the wedding with our closest friends and family. The grounds and Coach House are just gorgeous; it's informal and relaxed while being totally organised thanks to the added bonus (and it really is a bonus!) of having a Wedding Coordinator. Pennard were so helpful with all things COVID and have a helpbook with a list of recommended suppliers to get your organising started. Our favourite day ever and all thanks to Pennard House and their truly wonderful staff (especially Lucy!). Can we do it again?

We just wanted to say again how grateful we are to you all for making our Wedding Blessing and Reception so special. You are all amazing and we had a very magical day. Our guests and us included loved everything about it and we cannot thank you enough for all of your efforts in making it work seamlessly - special thanks to La for having to tell me it was raining and for making all indoor celebrations just as incredible! And for being there all day working away to make it so special for us all. The evening before, the breakfasts and being able to enjoy the beautiful house and surroundings was incredible. Parents of the groom - September 2019
As parents of the groom at our son's wedding on Saturday 28th September, we would like to thank everyone at Pennard House for making the event so wonderful. The venue was absolutely beautiful and every last detail had been thought about to make it the perfect wedding. Even the weather perked up when needed - luck was definitely on our side!
What made the event even for special for us was how Carol, Lucy and everyone we met went out of their way to make our stay as easy as possible following my husband's recent surgery - meals in our room, wheelchair routes through the house and Coach House as well as all your care and kind attention which enabled us both to relax and enjoy the wedding. Without all your help this would not have been possible, so thank you very much indeed, we are extremely grateful to you all.
It was a wonderful occasion and one which none of us will ever forget. We would have no hesitation in recommending Pennard House to all our family and friends!

Myself, my husband and our families had the time of our lives. We felt so relaxed and at home we didn't want to leave! It's such a special house.
All our friends and family have said what a great, relaxed and personal wedding it was and that was really down to the amazing venue and you and your fantastic team...
You all made the experience so easy and special, all of your hard work behind the scenes didn't go unnoticed- we really appreciate everything you did to make it the most perfect weekend. We honestly can't thank you enough.
We've spent everyday since reminiscing about our time at Pennard house - it's a weekend we will never forget.

We simply cannot thank you enough for everything you did for us this weekend! It was completely perfect from start to finish and we are still on a high! All of your thoughtful little touches were so appreciated, from bringing us up a tray of Buck's Fizz, and letting my grandma in the house to see me before the ceremony, to the surprise croquet set appearing on the lawn - which we loved! You and Ellie and everyone else who looked after us were so wonderful and kind and accommodating. The best part was that you simply felt like friends who were there for our wedding too! You worked so hard but clearly love your jobs too.
All of our friends and family commented on what an incredible venue Pennard House was and how well everything was run. We honestly didn't need to worry or even really think about a thing all day.
We still cannot get over how incredible that weather was! I definitely witnessed a few very sunburnt backs by the end of the night haha!
Thank you again for everything. It's been a dream! We'd absolutely love to come back again one day!

Special thanks to the lovely Carole, who was there from morning till late at night making sure everything ran smoothly, even tidying the bridal suite after the morning chaos.

We had such an incredible time! Really couldn't have asked for a better day. And I wanted to say an extra big thank you to you, Luce. You were phenomenal! Everything happened seamlessly, no matter what we threw at you. We really couldn't have been happier with the venue or the service!
Pat, the housekeeper, was super too! As were all the people we met who helped out on the stay.
I'm sure we'll be visiting again! Not least, because of how many of our friends were wowed by the place! I wouldn't be surprised if we find ourselves guests at a wedding in the future!

Well…where do I start? I have finally sat down after settling back in at work and home after ten blissful honeymoon days in the Maldives (there is nothing quite like the place, totally breath-taking). I have been trying to think how to say thank you to you and Ellie for all you did on our wedding day and for the prior year of planning. However, I don't think a mere "thank you" really cuts it! You both were absolutely fantastic. Lucy, your support, guidance, professionalism, warmth, patience and general friendship guided me for twelve months, and Ellie, your support, kindness, extreme hard work and taking care of us and our families/guests on the day went above and beyond what we could have ever asked for. You were a dream. Thank you.
Pennard House are so lucky to have you both represent them. Our day/weekend was perfect in every single way, we didn't want for anything, everything ran smoothly, the sun shone, your care and consideration was second to none, our families loved it, and the setting and you - it was just perfect. I want to say a special thank you for helping me finalise my gorgeous tables, as the finishing touch made the difference. Again, thank you, couldn't have done it without you. I fell in love with Pennard House the moment I first walked in and it will hold a special place in my heart!
I do hope you will both stay in touch with me and M. Our photographs are amazing and would love to share them maybe over a coffee one day in the future... We will be back, we promise.
