Built in 2020, Croftview is an elegant and contemporary wedding venue perfect for those after simplicity. It was individually designed with colour schemes, wonderful furnishings and only the best craftmanship to create the perfect atmosphere in each room. You'll find an array of splendid facilities including a luxury indoor spa hall, games room, rustic underground BBQ lodge, a spacious garden and orchard and maybe the occasional chicken!

For those who want to venture a little further than the venue, soaking up nature before returning to the hustle and bustle of life, Croftview is located among many attractions including the Jurassic Coastline with many exceptional walks.

Licensed Pagoda

The licensed pagoda, set on a spacious outdoor lawn that includes the neighbouring Croftview gardens, provides the perfect backdrop for an intimate private ceremony. This picturesque setting can accommodate up to sixty guests, with the option for thirty individuals to stay at the property. The area is wheelchair accessible, featuring a convenient paved walkway.

Underground Hobbit House

During your wedding celebrations you'll get the chance to immerse yourself into the extraordinary ambiance of the enchanting rustic Hobbit House nestled underground within the hillside. This one-of-a-kind abode offers a whimsical experience complete with a firepit and captivating vistas of the fields beyond. Croftview have two wonderful packages to offer you for your wedding day.

First up is the Sapphire Wedding Package for up to 30 guests which includes:

  • There is a designated area for ceremonies with a pagoda located on a spacious garden lawn that includes the adjacent Croftview gardens
  • The pagoda area is accessible for disabled individuals via a paved walkway
  • There is ample parking available in close proximity to the property
  • Check-in time for the property starts at 4 pm on the day of arrival, either on a Monday or Friday.
  • The maximum number of guests allowed is 30
  • There are spacious patio areas and a courtyard suitable for serving drinks and canapés
  • You have various options for photography locations within the boundaries of Croftview
  • A beautiful jasmine flower arch is situated in front of the ceremony pagoda
  • Chairs and tables are provided for the ceremony as well as for the wedding cake, cards, gifts, and guest book.
  • A high-quality Bose PA system is available
  • We have an extensive list of recommended suppliers
  • Additional car charging points are available
  • The Hinton Park Holidays Manager/Estate Representative will be present throughout your ceremony

You won't find thirteen individually designed bedrooms anywhere but Croftview, leaving each guest excited to see which bespoke décor they got. There is accommodation for up to 26 guests all of which are treated to Luxury Bramley toiletries. There is a room suitable for the bridal suite, The Owl Bedroom. This spacious and light room has the luxury of a sofa and relaxation area for the newlyweds to reminisce about their wedding day and prep their favourite snack in the separate kitchenette on the same floor.

    Croftview' is a stunning venue with luxurious ensuite accommodation in a dozen or more rooms. We had 30 people stay overnight and almost 80 for our attended our evening reception; everyone commented on what a fantastic venue we had chosen. They were not wrong!

    The large outdoor lawn with the Wedding Pagoda space offers the most perfect location with far reaching views across the Somerset countryside. Perfect for wedding photos our photographers noted.

    The property itself is is wonderfully appointed throughout with accommodation over three levels. The ground floor accommodation provides more specific access requirements, such as for those who happen to be a wheelchair user. The bridal suite was stunning!

    There is plenty of seating inside, including around a single table that seats about 30. A wonderful piece of wood which has to be seen to be believed. There is further seating both inside and out, where you will also find a modern and very large BBQ.

    The grounds of the property are self-contained, so you have no unwelcome visitors nor noisy neighbours. The accommodation comes with its own games room, pool, sauna, hot tub, pool table, and so much more.

    Croftview is a real hidden gem that we were delighted to stumble upon when looking for a wedding venue. Oh, and the outside play areas for younger children is a really thoughtful touch...and well used by our wedding parties younger guests and relieved parents!

    Let us also not forget the amazing photos we had taken in your 'den'...this is a self contained, underground, 'Hobbit Hole'. Simply marvellous and literally lifted out of a Tolkien novel! Children, and adults, thought it was nothing short of amazing!

    There is so much to recommend this place. Really there is. Including those who make it all work...

    We want to say a special thank you to Charlotte, at Hinton Park Holidays, who helped to make our wedding day a fantastic time to remember. Nothing was too much trouble, and the cake was an absolute delight, including the wonderful cake tasting afternoon where we were truly spoilt for choice!

    We are so incredibly grateful for a magical day, and a wonderful holiday week, which exceeded our family's expectations in every respect. I have high standards: they were surpassed.

    For anyone reading this considering a wedding venue, please seriously consider Croftview. It was a marvellous week, a marvellous wedding day, with the most gracious of host. It is also a wonderful holiday home (we were there for a while) and aside from the wedding, it was the perfect place make your final preparations and then finally to relax, the deed done!

    We stayed at Croftview with our entire bridal party the week of our wedding, and it was everything we could want and more. Our family had such a wonderful time, the house has every facility you could need, including 3 dishwashers and 6 ovens, which blew our minds! You could walk around the house every day for weeks on end and still spot little décor moments for the first time. It is impeccably designed, and the games room and swimming pool were where we spent most of our time. Charlotte was available at any point if we needed her too, which was so helpful.
    So many special memories were made at Croftview, and we just want to live there!

    Croftview was the most stunning location for my best friends hen do. It was well equipped and boasted the most amazing views and accommodation for a girls weekend. There were 25 of us there however there was more than enough space, bath rooms and kitchen equipment for us all to use. The pool house allowed us to party privately and the owners couldnt have been more helpful if they tried. All of the 25 hens have said they would love to return to croftview with their families especially to celebrate christmas.
    I couldnt recommend it enough to anyone looking for accommodation that hosts ecerything you need and more.
