Originally a 15th-century coaching inn, this historic country hostelry has been lovingly restored over the years, now boasting 48 exquisite individually-designed bedrooms, a beautiful area licensed to host civil ceremonies and an award-winning restaurant.

The Garden Room

This light, spacious area is suitable for accommodating elegant civil wedding ceremonies and features large glass doors which open out onto a delightful courtyard garden - absolutely perfect for celebratory drinks.

Oak Room

Receptions traditionally take place on the ground floor in the magnificent Oak Room, which has its own bar area and dancefloor.

Accommodation

48 luxurious, individually-designed bedrooms are available should your guests wish to stay overnight, alongside an exquisite honeymoon suite overlooking the cathedral. Five self-contained apartments are also available for accommodation in Swan Mews.
