The White Van Wedding Company's owner, Kelly, spent her early life adventuring in camper vans. When she bought Georgie - a 1965 split screen campervan - over twenty years ago, she spent time restoring her, even stripping the old lurid green paint off herself. After an injury, she realised the perfect excuse for a new start and new job in her beloved Georgie. She was already the perfect colour for vintage wedding car hire.

Kelly bought a second VW camper in 2019, and her passion for weddings and Volkswagens brings her to special events throughout the south east of England.

The Cars

Georgie

In the family since 1997, Georgie is a 1965 split screen VW camper in a beautiful wedding white. She was professionally restored in 2010 and has since had upgrades such as Porsche disc brakes, a brand new engine and a new gearbox.

Jimi

Added to the crew in 2019, Jimi is a 1970 bay window VW camper. He has a new engine and exhaust but all the lovely vintage trimmings including cream and white leatherette seating and his original "Westfalia Weekender" wood panelling.

The White Van Wedding Company also has links to two VW Beetles, Billy (a convertible) and Mr Tickle. This is perfect if you have a large bridal party and want to honour the 1960s theme.

The Service

Your experience with The White Van Wedding Company will be as smooth as the ride. You will be asked about your plans for your big day as well as how the car can fit around your style seamlessly.

Your chosen VW will be decorated with ribbon (there is an extensive list of colours for you to pick from to match your wedding's theme) and garlands for the bumper and interior. There are bountiful options for this artificial flower garland, from Summer Brights to Meadow Colours, or the team could try to get creative if you have a specific request.

On the day, your chosen VW camper will arrive at your door, driven by a highly experienced professional chauffeur. On your trip, you can even dive into the pick-and-mix station in each vehicle.

Of course, when you arrive, you will have an opportunity to have your photographer take some beautiful shots of the two of you with the backdrop of your chosen campervan. The standard hire (four hours) includes a journey to your choice of beauty spot for even more stunning photographs.

Photobooth

The pair of VW campers don't just make fantastic transport, but can also be used as a unique photobooth! The basic bronze package starts from £450 and includes a three hour hire session, heaps of props, a choice of backdrop, a friendly booth operator and a campervan shaped USB with all your images. You can pay a little extra for a guest book service and instant prints and this will make a fantastic activity for any wedding.
