Licenced for civil ceremonies in a number of spaces and offering a range of packages, this versatile venue can cater for your intimate gathering or more lavish affair.

History

Built for the Hanbury family in circa 1730, Kelmarsh Hall has been praised by historians for its design and appearance. Infamous 20th century society decorator Nancy Lancaster left her mark in the Great Hall's delicate terracotta colouring, Chinese wallpaper and seasonal floral arrangements. Lancaster extended her style to the gardens, with its sophisticated pastels and a secret heart filled with fruit and vegetables, flower beds and vinery. The overlays of history resulted in the gardens being listing by English Heritage as Grade II, a garden of national significance.

Now, the Grade I-listed house welcomes couples from across the country for their nuptials.

Reviews

  • The Bride and Groom

Kelmarsh Hall is the most perfect and beautiful setting, we fell in love with it the moment we saw it. The house is incredibly unique and we knew it was the place for us. It had enough space for everyone inside if it rained, which it did on our day, and it wasn't cramped. The gardens are also very well kept and to have the gardens flowers around the house was a lovely touch.

  • One Happy Bride

It is a beautiful and romantic venue for a wedding with history and charm, and can cater to any needs and requirements. It was head and shoulders above the rest!

  • The Bride and Groom

Arriving at Kelmarsh Hall for the first time we were totally captivated. It was not the sunniest of days but the building seemed to radiate warmth. The staff were so personable and genuinely interested in us as people. As a package, Kelmarsh's attention to detail in everything they do is outstanding!
