History

Located in beautiful Monmouthshire, Chepstow Racecourse was established in the early 20th century.

Used as an RAF outpost during the Second World War, the racecourse was later restored to its former use and has been enjoyed by many in the succeeding years.

Chepstow Racecourse is now a successful and fully-functioning race course. Have your wedding amongst the fanfare and vibrancy of horse racing culture.

The estate is surrounded by stunning countryside and has the backdrop of the historic neoclassical shell of Piercefield House. This venue combines both indoor and outdoor scenery with regency features, the perfect setting for a fabulous wedding.

The Gold package includes all of the amenities within the Silver package but you can also have:

Facilities

Marquee and room hire

Chepstow Racecourse offers exclusive use of a luxury marquee to set up in the picturesque parkland. All packages come with complementary room hire for your wedding breakfast and access to the beautiful grounds.

To add further excitement to your day, Chepstow Racecourse offers weddings in either private boxes or luxurious suites to enjoy your wedding with a thrilling race to keep you entertained.

Catering

Dedicated chefs work on site to provide delicious, locally sourced food. Offering the choice of either a three or four course wedding breakfast, Chepstow Racecourse also provides Fairtrade tea and coffee and a welcome glass of bubbly for you and your guests.

The Chepstow Racecourse sample menu includes a starter of hot smoked salmon served with a sweet and sour red onion, yoghurt and olive oil dressing. Then, a main course of oven roasted Welsh lamb with a mint and rosemary jus, seasonal potatoes and vegetables. Finally, raspberry crème brulée served with a biscotti biscuit.
