About

Claiming the title of the best Master of Ceremony in England, Alan's journey to this point started in 2010, after attending his first Marbecca Method Workshop. For those not familiar, these are workshops dedicated to mobile DJs looking to develop their skills as Master's of Ceremony.

Much more than just a DJ or toast master, the Master of Ceremony is responsible for making sure everything at the reception runs smoothly in regards to timing. So keen was Alan to learn these skills that he flew to the USA to take these workshops (which he's now done seven of).

Not only is he a well accomplished MOC, he's a dedicated one, who enjoys every ceremony he performs at just like it's his first.

Master of Ceremony

As Master of Ceremony, Alan will join you after the rings have been exchanged, and work behind the scenes to ensure everything runs smoothly and on time. Along with this, he'll provide his own forms of entertainment as well as a playlist that will be sure to keep the dance floor packed.

The Service

At the start of each booking, Alan insists on sitting down with the couple to be wed. This is a great opportunity for you to get to know him and him to get to know you. As he's someone who will be heavily involved in the celebrations, it's important that this is the right fit for both parties.

From there you can talk about what it is you want from him, and he can go over what he can bring to the wedding, giving you his expert advice.

To make sure each ceremony gets the attention it needs and deserves from Alan as Master of Ceremony, he books a maximum of 35 weddings a year, so he can deliver the excellent level of service he's known for.

Not only that, Alan sets such a high bar for himself, that if his service doesn't live up to the standard you expect, you'll get back however much of the fee you think you deserve. Be it 10% or 100%. This is a guarantee Alan is more than happy to provide, because despite being in this industry for the better part of a decade, not one of his clients has claimed back any of his fee.

    The little touches made such a difference! Such as the quiz for the wedding breakfast, the advice cards that were read out after the speeches and the music during both the ceremony and the wedding breakfast.
