The team at Woldingham were fantastic- Faye and Susan were brilliant and accommodating, letting us arrange visits to the venue ahead of the day to see how things would run, and offered flexibility when we wanted a larger top table than was readily available (Susan arranged for hire of a larger one). The food and drink was absolutely brilliant, beautifully presented and the catering staff were so polite and professional. Our guests loved the food, wine and the champagne! The venue is gorgeous both inside out and out (important when it comes to English weather!). Would absolutely recommend having a wedding at Woldingham!

We just wanted to say a huge thank you to you all for everything last weekend. We had an absolute blast, it was wonderful. So grateful for all of your help over the planning period. It really was such a special day, thanks to your wonderful team!
We also wanted to highlight how impressed we were by the catering/waiting staff - they were all so friendly, incredibly helpful during the set-up, and we had loads of compliments about the food!!

We were extremely happy with our choice of Marden Park Mansion as our wedding venue! The gorgeous grounds and magnificent building awed all our guests (and us too) and the process of organising everything was very smooth from the first time we considered it as a venue, to all our enquiries and to the day itself. Faye and Susan were exceptionally helpful throughout the process, along with all the staff members on the day itself. The organisation with all our suppliers, eg. florist, band, was smoothly handled by the team. The food and drinks selection were also wonderful.
It was a lovely venue that felt much more personal and caring about your needs than other commercial venues. In all, we could not be any happier that we have chosen this as our wedding venue.

Faye and the team are excellent. From first viewing the venue, up until the wedding day - whatever queries I had, Faye would always respond quickly. Everything appeared to be very organised and it all ran so smoothly on the wedding day which really took the stress off of us.
All the wedding guests mentioned how incredible the staff were - from serving the plates and knowing exactly who was eating what, to making sure the water dispenser was always full. Thank you also for finding alternate dishes (which weren’t boring!) for people with allergies. All the staff I encountered were very pleasant, polite and helpful.
Thank you again, we really did have the best day at your beautiful venue.

As for the wedding itself we've had so many friends and family members tell us how stunning the venue was and we wholeheartedly agree, we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful place for our special day (and the weather hugely helped). The ability for us to have a catholic ceremony on-site was truly fantastic and was such an important thing for us, the fact everything could happen in one place was more than we could have asked for.
Faye, you as events coordinator were so helpful and understanding especially given how difficult the planning with us being far away and unable to visit that frequently during the pandemic.
Overall it was a stunning day and I cannot recommend the venue enough. Everyone was so friendly and attentive it made me relax and feel like I could be completely hands off on the day.

Getting married at Woldingham School was an utterly magical event. The beautiful driveway, handsome mansion and gorgeous grounds are an incredibly lovely setting. You feel as if you are in the heart of the countryside, yet it is actually really easy for people to reach from London by train or elsewhere by car. Having the entire venue and being able to use several stunning rooms was a key attraction and it really paid off. We loved the versatility and flexibility of being able to use the different rooms for the key events of the day plus several different evening entertainments. The staff at the school were phenomenal from start to finish, both with the planning and on the day itself. Everyone was so helpful. It was genuinely the best day of our lives and the school played a huge part in achieving that. We wish we could do it again and we are so so happy that we chose the school.
Thank you so much for all your help Faye with the planning. You were fantastic and we appreciate all of you patience, suggestions and advice. But we had a phenomenal day and are so grateful to you and all the team at the School.

We cannot thank the amazing team at Woldingham for making our wedding day so perfect. We couldn't have imagined a better venue and the service was first class. It's very stressful planning a wedding mid-pandemic but Woldingham made everything as easy and calm for us as possible. The venue itself is absolutely stunning and the food was delicious. We particularly loved all of the different rooms available which meant the different parts of the wedding felt special and different in their own space especially with the torrential rain we had. Could not recommend any more highly!

Now the dust has settled we just wanted to say a huge thank you to you and the Woldingham team - our wedding day was everything we wanted it to be. We've had so many kind words since the big day, our guests absolutely loved the venue, the food and the service. You were so supportive throughout the planning and did everything you could for us on the day. As cliché as it sounds, it really was the best day of our lives and we've made some fantastic memories and we have you to thank.

From the moment we looked round Woldingham School, we knew it was special and the ideal place in which to have our wedding reception. As practising Catholics, as are so many of our guests, we were blown away by the history and beautiful interior of the mansion. The staff couldn't do enough for us in the preparations leading up to the big day and it was always very easy to get in touch with Faye to make any tweaks to our plans and to ask the umpteen questions we had!
The location is spectacular and everyone commented on the beauty of the grounds and the time in which they had to explore them in between eating, drinking and dancing! Many of our guests have said how amazing the food was, especially the trio of lamb. Everyone was so at ease, which is what we wanted on our wedding day. Having the whole mansion ensured people could move around freely and it was great for both the party animals as well as those who wanted some quiet time in the lounge/bar area.
We cannot speak more highly of Woldingham School and would highly recommend it to our friends as being a wonderful venue for a wedding.

As the old cliché goes, you had me at €œhello", Woldingham School had us as we drove down the drive the very first time and the school came into view. We just knew. By the time Clare (Events Manager) was two minutes into the tour we were ready to pay the deposit! Clare was extremely helpful and absolutely lovely from the first day we met her and throughout the wedding journey. Jane (Catering Manager) was very helpful in the lead up to our big day and all her staff were superb on the day. All our friends and family absolutely loved the venue. A magical place which has given us wonderful memories. Thank you!

The staff were absolutely phenomenal. If there was any question or query it was always answered extremely quickly. A lot of pressure planning the wedding was taken away as the staff were extremely helpful and attentive through the entire process. Jane (Catering Manager) was fantastic throughout the tasting and especially on the big day, and the catering staff were extremely professional. It was great to watch our guests enjoy the silver service experience. The entire venue was absolutely magnificent. During the wedding, guests only had praise and were blown away by the venue and grounds.

Clare, Jane and the catering staff at the school couldn't have done more during the lead up to the wedding, or on the day itself. Nothing was too much trouble, and the staff were so attentive on the day. The food was outstanding…many of our guests have since commented on the quality of the food. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the venue to others.
