The Hay Barn can accommodate up to 135 guests for seated dining, with an additional 80 for evening celebrations. It features a mood lighting system that can be customised to match your wedding theme. The venue provides lime-washed Chiavari chairs, with tables and chairs included in the package. A fully stocked ground-floor bar is available with experienced, friendly staff to assist guests.
The Marquee offers a large semi-permanent structure adjoining the barn, set within a one-third acre garden. It provides direct access to the Hay Barn and opens up onto the gardens, making it perfect for receptions or outdoor garden games. The marquee increases the venue's capacity to accommodate up to 200 guests.
The Courtyard has a beautiful antique hay wagon and a flower arch, creating a charming setting. It offers direct access to the Hay Barn, with tables and chairs available, as well as parasols for added comfort. Twinkling fairy lights add a magical touch for evening celebrations, with a capacity to seat up to 50 guests.
Pricing
At Winter's Tale Country Barn, wedding venue hire prices vary by season and day of the week. For 2026, rates range from £4,600 to £7,400, depending on the season and day. In 2027, prices increase slightly, ranging from £4,700 to £7,500.
Additionally, late availability offers for Summer 2025 are available, with discounts up to £1,400 off standard prices.

Winter's Tale Country Barn offers two charming on-site cottages included in your wedding package:
Ember Eve Barn: A romantic one-bedroom retreat featuring an antique four-poster bed, a Victorian slipper bath, and a private balcony with countryside views.
Harvest Moon Barn: A spacious two-bedroom cottage with a double and a twin room, accommodating up to four guests.
