The barn has been carefully restored using traditional cob and stone, combining historic charm with flexible event space. The venue acts as a “blank canvas,” allowing couples to personalise their decor, layout, and style of celebration. Exclusive use of the barn and surrounding grounds is offered for a full weekend, giving plenty of time for setup, the big day itself, and moments afterwards with guests.

Facilities

Inside, the barn features an intimate bar area and a main multifunctional space that can comfortably seat up to around 100 guests, with room for an additional 20 if needed. The lawned terrace outside provides an ideal spot for welcome drinks or canapés with panoramic countryside views, and there’s space in the apple orchard for marquees or additional gathering areas. On‑site parking, fire pits, tables and benches are included in the hire.

Catering

Windout Barn gives couples flexibility with catering; you’re welcome to bring in your own choice of caterers so you can design the cuisine and style that best suits your celebration. A licensed bar area is available where you can stock your own drinks.

Accommodation

As part of the standard wedding hire, on‑site accommodation includes The Old Piggery cottage, which sleeps up to four people for three nights. There are also camping options available on the grounds for guests who want to stay close to the celebration. Additional unique accommodation such as Cleave Treehouse can be booked separately for honeymoon stays or special guest lodging.
