About
Walcot Hall has been in the Parish family since 1957. Robin Parish and his wife Lucinda have lived at Walcot since 2000, raising their four children there.
Robin started the holiday flats in the early 1980s, and over the last 20 years, he and Lucinda have continued to develop the estate, restoring the ballroom and building it into an exquisite wedding venue. They have also added 15 self-catering holiday cottages, a campsite and caravan park, and a pub with B&B rooms.
Facilities
With a seated capacity for 120 during the day and up to 200 in the evening, Walcot Hall can accommodate weddings of all sizes.
For your wedding ceremony, you can choose from a variety of locations, including the Main Hall, gardens, and village church. After your ceremony, guests can enjoy drinks and canapés in one of the private garden areas, while you and your photographer capture the perfect wedding photos.
The wedding breakfast and evening reception will be held in the beautiful turquoise Ballroom. The Ballroom can be transformed to suit your taste, and the Walcot Hall team will work with you to create a bespoke menu and drinks package.
After the wedding breakfast, guests can stretch their legs and refresh with a drink in the Anteroom, courtyard, or gardens, while the Ballroom is turned around for the evening reception. Let the party commence!
Ceremonies
Walcot Hall is a licensed civil ceremony wedding venue, offering couples a choice of three indoor spaces and other outdoor options. This means that couples can host their entire wedding celebrations within the Walcot estate, from the ceremony to the reception.
For couples who prefer a religious ceremony, Walcot Hall also offers the possibility of a service conducted in the local village church in Lydbury North.
