The intricate knowledge and art of gentlemen's tailoring as exemplified by Tux & Tails has been passed down intact through three successive generations.  The current proprietor's grandfather first entered the profession back in 1937, and this family-run concern has been involved in the 'rag trade' ever since.

Tux & Tails' wonderful suits were featured on the BBC TV programme Don't Tell The Bride recently, in an episode first aired in July, 2012. All of the impressive suits worn at Wayne and Leanne's wedding were supplied by Tux & Tails!

The Suits

Tux & Tails hire out everything sartorial a groomsman (or pageboy) could possibly need for a wedding:- from luxury  tuxedos and rather dashing  Scottish tartan suits and kilts to the more contemporary lounge suits, top-quality formal shirts and fancy waistcoats in all colours, materials, shapes and sizes.

Wedding Packages

To make things a little easier, Tux & Tails offer a series of four packages to those looking to hire formalwear for their wedding. They range from Sapphire to Diamond:-

Sapphire - The basic package features a classic morning-dress tailcoat, trousers, shirt, grey waistcoat, tie or cravat and a handkerchief.

Emerald - As Sapphire, but add the freedom to choose the colour of your waistcoat.

Ruby - Similar to Emerald, but this additionally includes shoes.

Diamond - Order this package and receive customisable waistcoat, shoes and a top hat as additions to the basic package.

You can match the shirts, ties, handkerchiefs and waistcoats to your colour scheme (apart from the Sapphire package’s predetermined grey waistcoat), and all of the suit jackets and trousers come in a choice of black, grey or navy.

Hire the luxurious 3/4-length single-breasted Prince Edward jacket for a supplement of £5, and extra shirts for just £5.50.

Groom Goes Free

After all, it’s his big day, and so Tux & Tails extend their unbeatable wedding-day offer - when you hire six groomsmen's outfits, the bridegroom’s suit will come free!
