History
The house that stands today was built by a local businessman in 1878, replacing an earlier mansion built in 1090. The Udall family who owned Trunkwell from 1937 were very influential in Beech Hill.

Garden Weddings
Have your ceremony in the perfectly manicured gardens of the house. The summer pavilion is the perfect place to exchange vows. When the sun sets on your beautiful day the garden is illuminated to reveal a stunning backdrop to your evening.

The smaller of the two permanent Marquees situated on the grounds, the Garden Marquee is licenced to host ceremonies. Its beautiful ambience leaves a blank canvas for you to adopt any style and decoration.

The Grand Marquee
This vast marquee is absolutely stunning and the possibilities of decoration are endless. Its beautiful starlit ceiling makes for a truly romantic and unique atmosphere to host your wedding breakfast. It can host up to 600 guests but if your party should exceed these numbers there's an option to extend the marquee even further.

The Private Dining Room
Be different and have a unique ceremony in the classic dining room situated inside the stunning Trunkwell House. It's absolutely perfect for the more intimate weddings. The room gives an elegant but homey feel, with its classic and original features and open fireplace. The distinctive look of the room is made by the owner's own exclusive art collection. The dining room has its own personal bar.
