This lovely Bed and Breakfast farmhouse hosts gorgeous old-fashioned country weddings. Intimate ceremonies can be hosted in the converted barn right by the farm, and the venue is only a five-minute walk away from an isolated beach and the romantically crashing waves of the Atlantic Ocean, perfect for stunning wedding photos which will undoubtedly be cherished in years to come.
About
Trevigue is a National Trust farmhouse which dates back to the 16th century. However, the property was earlier mentioned in the Domesday Book, and the house, barn and accommodation are grouped around an ancient cobbled courtyard. It is located on the stunning cliffs of North Cornwall and is cosily settled in between dreamy sandy beaches and Boscastle, a charming fishing village.
Facilities
Converted Barn
Civil wedding ceremonies are held in a converted barn which looks out onto the cobbled courtyard. You can either invite up to 45 guests to enjoy the celebration, or choose to stage a private ceremony for just the two of you, with the owners as your witnesses.
Civil Ceremony Capacity - 45 Guests
Catering
You are invited to entertain your guests at a drinks and canapés reception in Trevigue's stunning grounds after your ceremony is over. Canapé choices are discussed and arranged on a bespoke basis. If you're moving on for a more formal wedding reception, you'll have transport to take you to one of several lovely nearby venues where you can enjoy your wedding breakfast and a party.
Accommodation
There are four B&B rooms within the grounds of Trevigue. With roaring fires and plush sofas, all rooms are kitted out with 42-inch plasma-screen TV, pocket sprung mattress and fluffy duvet. Set in an AONB and right by Stangles Beach - where Hardy's famous poems are set - the rooms have an outstandingly romantic view and are the perfect place for you to awake as husband and wife.

Wow! What can I say about Trevigue... it's the most magical, beautiful, friendly wedding venue ever. Gayle and the team could not have made our wedding day any better. Our room was gorgeous, breakfast delicious and in such a beautiful setting. A must for anyone looking to get away, or get married!

My husband and I had the most perfect wedding day at Trevigue, Gayle and the team were amazing and made sure everything went to plan! We also stayed two nights there: the accommodation was beautiful and so homely, breakfast was delicious and Gayle and Henry were delightful! Thank you for an amazing experience that we will all remember for years to come and we hope to revisit one year.
