History

The Woodman Inn is situated right next to the Nuthamsptead Airfield Museum, with the USAAF commissioning an airfield and camp in Nuthampstead in 1942. The Inn itself has some fantastic photos that document its interesting wartime history. The Inn itself was built in the 17th century and was frequently visited by American airmen stationed nearby; the incredible team running The Woodman Inn have saluted to their colourful history by offering a selection of English and American cuisine.

With history at the core of The Woodman Inn, their menus nod to their roots - a traditional English meets American. This unique taste is crafted by their in-house smoker and locally sourced ingredients. Standard Wedding Hire - £2000

This package includes exclusive use of the Oak Room and indoor bar until 3pm or after the ceremony and a night of wonderful celebrations in the marquee and gardens until midnight. Alongside these incredible spaces, you will also have access to preparation rooms, an experienced events manager for the planning and an event co-ordinator for the day. You will be guaranteed a wonderful stress-free experience.

Exclusive Venue Hire - £3000

This incredible package features a full hire of the whole venue from midday until midnight, allowing you a wedding day with only your nearest and dearest. The cost also includes the use of the preparation room, as well as an events manager and co-ordinator. What more could you need?

Accommodation

The Woodman Inn has two beautiful rooms available on site, each with a nod of décor to their local surrounding wildlife. To add to the cosy vibes of the venue, the rooms come equipped with tea and coffee facilities that are presented on a stunning antique tea trolley with vintage china to serve.
