A talented wedding band specialising in cool and classic jazz and swing through to latin, funk & groove. The Hipcats provide fabulous music at your event, getting anyone from the grandparents to the grandkids on the floor.

The band offer a variety of line-ups suited to your event and the specific music that you would like at your wedding, whether that's classic jazz and swing or something more contemporary. They also offer a range of fabulous themes.

About

A talented and versatile band specialising in weddings and events, The Hipcats are made up of some of the UK's most talented musicians and artists. The band features a range of line-up suitable for different events and members of each included talented musicians who have; been trained by pianist Jason Rebello, accompanying Eliza Fitzgerald and even working with the Scissor Sisters!

The band specialises in Jazz, Swing, Latin, Funk, Soul and Groove - providing an alternate wedding band that is perfect for a relaxed reception feel or even for themed weddings. The band can cover a wide area, including Bristol, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire and South Wales.

The Music

The Hipcats can offer a wide range of differing musical styles within their specialist genres. This can include incredible musical tributes to the music of the 1920s right up to the 1960s - ranging from classic Rat Pack and James Bond era music to film tracks from the height of Hollywood's glitz and glamour era.

They can also provide music with specific theme, such as Vegas or New Orleans as well as being able to adapt their play-list for more mixed audiences, bringing in a range of contemporary soul and funk tracks - guaranteed to get everyone on the dancefloor. The band's pricing is based on a variety of factors and tailored to your individual needs (for example how many musicians you need, time of year and travel costs). There are however several offers available for those of you looking to keep the wedding costs down.

Those of you booking during their off-peak months of January, February, March & November, or those of you booking six months in advance could receive a 10% discount. You could also receive a 20% discount when you choose to hire the band's talented, semi-professional line-up, rather than their main line-up.

    Just a short note to say thank you for being so fantastic at our wedding a couple of weeks back. The four of you were amazing, all of our guests (but especially us) had a great time dancing along and Ceri was over the moon that you played her requests.

    Thanks also for being so accommodating in the build up. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend you to anybody else and it was a pleasure to share that ginrum with you at the end of the night.

    Sam and I just wanted to thank you for last Saturday (a week has gone by so quickly already!) - we thought the band were excellent, and the whole thing went really smoothly. We didn't really get as much chance as we would have liked to actually listen to you guys, due to being outside having photos done for pretty much the whole drinks reception (as is often the way!) and then greeting the evening do people later on!! But from what we did get to listen to, it was really good, and lots of people have said how great you were! Hopefully you all enjoyed the event as much as the guests and we did.
