About Originally built in 1752, The Globe at Hay is steeped in a rich history whilst still being able to provide all the modern comforts. The venue's past life as a chapel lets it offer traditional pews and an original pulpit, whilst its new life as an arts centre means it can provide projectors, a PA system and speakers. Facilities The Main Hall This lovingly maintained room boasts Georgian era décor, double height ceilings and unique, original artwork. Flushed with intimate mood lighting, the room is also big enough for a band, DJ and a fixed bar and dancefloor. Ceremony capacity - 60 guests Wedding breakfast capacity - 80 guests Reception capacity - 100 guests The Upper Gallery This airy balcony looks out over the Main Hall and can provide extra seating for your wedding ceremony or a quite escape for your reception guests. Ceremony capacity - 20 guests The Lower Gallery This flag-stoned space has a light, airy atmosphere thanks to its large arched windows and acts as a chilled space for your guests to relax in alongside the Main Hall.
