About The Gardens Yalding was formerly known as Yalding Organic Gardens. It was originally created as a display garden for the Henry Doubleday Research Association and was opened to the public in 1995. It was once described as "among the most inspirational garden acres anywhere, for everyone" but had to close in 2011 as the gardens fell into disrepair. In 2013 Rod and Nicki Clark bought the site. They made significant improvements to restore the gardens to their former glory and are now a wonderful haven inspiring, educating and encouraging the next generation of gardeners.
