The venue comprises several restored stone barns surrounding a large courtyard garden, offering flexible indoor and outdoor spaces for ceremonies, drinks and dining. Tables, chairs and basic event furniture are provided, and the gardens are equipped with atmospheric lighting and seating for evening gatherings.

Capacities

The main barns and courtyard can accommodate mid-sized weddings, typically seating around 110–120 guests for a wedding breakfast. Exclusive hire of the full site increases capacity for evening guests to approximately 150, while smaller ceremonies and micro-weddings are also welcome in more intimate indoor spaces.

Catering

Catering is flexible at The Courtyard: couples may bring their own caterers from a recommended list, or work with preferred suppliers. The venue often partners with local bar and catering providers to offer welcome drinks, plated wedding breakfasts, sharing-style menus or buffet options. The events team coordinates timings, supplier access and service flow to ensure smooth transitions between ceremony, dining and evening entertainment.

Accommodation

The Courtyard provides on-site accommodation for the couple in the Gate House, a restored cottage within the grounds. For guests, there are nearby hotels, inns and self-catering cottages within short driving distance.
