  Susie made the bridesmaid dresses for my 3 granddaughters from scratch. She made the girls feel very relaxed when we went for fittings and adjusted the pattern to how the girls wanted them to look. When they were finished they looked like they had been purchased from a high end bridal store. I would have no hesitation in recommending Susie to any bride who needs a dress made or altered. On one occasion she even drove to London to fit one of the dresses which was above and beyond exceptional customer service . Thank you for making our experience stress free

  Susie altered some bridesmaid dresses for my two daughters in August 2023. Firstly she was incredibly flexible with when we could come and meet her, even allowing us to visit at unsociable hours. She was lovely and put my girls at ease as they were both nervous, and they were soon chatting away. The work she did on the dresses was incredible, both dresses had to be adjusted in length and taken in at the sides. The dresses had several layers and areas of rouching so must have been tricky to work with, but the dresses fit them perfectly and looked amazing. Thank you for doing such a wonderful job, i will be recommending you to others in the future

  Susie has been with my family in over the last 5 years in the same way that everyone used to have a family GP. She is a trusted professional who we turn to again and again when we have something that needs adjusting, fixing, altering or tailored. My first experience with Susie was regarding my sister's wedding dress which was a complete remodel using my mother's dress. Susie welcomed us all in and made us feel like we were at home. When my second sister got married and her dress was far too big, Susie stepped in and helped her feel like it was her dress again, the difference was astounding. Susie has altered bridesmaids dresses that were too long, added beading that had fallen off, competely remodelled dresses that didn't fit, and most recently fixed my Mum's dress for my wedding, which was the right colour but just didn't fit in other ways. Susie is innovative, exceptionally talented and by far the best dressmaker we know. When I picked up my wedding jumpsuit from the makers and had to fly back to Norway the next day, I knew exactly who to call in a bind, and despite having an incredibly quick turnaround, Susie took a saggy jumpsuit that didn't fit and made it into the wedding outfit of dreams, quite literally overnight. It fit like a glove, she knew exactly how to do it, and all with poise and elegance. Susie, we can't thank you enough for your beautiful work over the years, you will remain our trusted family dressmaker and alterations guru for years to come.

  I bought my wedding dress from John Lewis and then Susie shortened it and added a diamanté sash. The work was completed to a very high standard and I found her very friendly and accommodating to work with me in a relatively tight time frame. I would highly recommend her.

She is a truly talented lady, totally reliable and has very reasonably priced fees. I feel so lucky to have found Susie.   Susie was brilliant. From the first meeting to the final collection it was a relaxing and enjoyable experience. I was terrified of shopping for a wedding dress but Susie put me at ease and designed and made my perfect dress.
