Dating back to the 1870s, Stratton Court Barn is an idyllic location for a wedding. The barns retain many original features, including oak beams, vaulted ceilings, and a striking traditional stone structure, all of which lend a timeless charm to the setting, plus views over the breathtaking countryside.
Located on Pool Farm, it is home to the Wigmore family, who run the barn and whose relaxed and friendly approach contributes heavily to the barn’s warm atmosphere.
Facilities
Stratton Court Barn offers the Main Barn, The Byre, The Stables, The Hayloft and the Bar indoors. Outside, you’ll find extensive grounds including the Courtyard, the Rose Garden, the Lake and Ferne Wood. Additionally, Granary Cottage is available to stay in on the night of your wedding.
Main Barn
The Main Barn is a beautifully intimate space, ideal for exchanging your vows. The barn's high ceilings and focal point arch create a stunning backdrop for ceremonies, blending classic elegance with modern touches. Its floor-to-ceiling windows let the light flood in.

The Byre
The Byre is a breathtaking barn space with a hint of industrial charm. Doors open onto the courtyard and at the heart of the room is a striking fireplace, creating a cosy and inviting ambience. Whether adorned with round tables or rustic long tables, this unique space seamlessly combines rustic character with contemporary style.

Ferne Wood
You can also choose to say your vows under a canopy of dozens of shades of green just a stone's throw away from the barn. Stroll (or ride in the Gator) across the meadow to Ferne Wood and head into the copse of beech trees that form a perfect aisle leading to an oak-framed gazebo.
The Rose Garden
The Rose Garden is a romantic place to say your vows and you can legally marry here between May and September. The roses are in full bloom during June and July, but Spring and late Summer days are also perfect for this intimate setting.
The Courtyard
Another legalised space where you can get married – and have your drinks reception too. It’s at the heart of the barn and is perfect to watch sunset with cocktails and toast marshmallows at the fire pit as your evening food truck supplies your guests and the party continues.
The Stables and Hayloft
The wedding preparation rooms, designed in farmhouse-luxe style, are the perfect place to get ready on the morning of your wedding from 8:30 am. Airy and comfortable, with designer furniture and decor, full-length mirrors, phone chargers and a private en suite bathroom, it’s a lovely place to relax and enjoy time with those closest to you while the anticipation builds.
The Bar
Stratton Court Barn offers an outstanding selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and packages. From sparkling wines, to cocktails, presse, spirits, local beers (including Hawkstone), plus our local gins Cotswolds and TOAD, our fully stocked bar will perfectly complement your day.
Granary Cottage
Gorgeous Granary Cottage is available to stay in on the night of your wedding. The cottage interior matches the classic yet contemporary style of the barn with flagstone floors, wood burning stove, two bedrooms with luxurious double beds, and a wet room stocked with The White Company products.

Food is at the heart of every wedding, and Stratton Court Barn are passionate about delicious food that’s prepared using locally sourced and exceptional quality produce. There are six wonderful approved caterers to choose from, each specialising in their own unique field, to ensure you have exactly the type of food you wish to have on your day.
