Boasting the elegance of a Georgian manor, Stifford Hall Hotel is the perfect spot for Regency-style nuptials. With easy access to London, this venue is ideal for couples who have guests travelling from far and wide.

Located in Essex, its six acres of lush grounds and stylish modest rooms make this venue the ideal place for a quintessential country hotel wedding.

Priding themselves on giving the bride and groom a personal and tailored approach, they only host one wedding a day on the grounds. So, the happy couple can receive undivided attention from the wedding coordinator and the in-house suppliers.

With plenty of function suites to choose from, the future married couple are simply spoilt for choice!

Facilities

The Pagoda

Marry your true love outside surrounded by sweetly scented flowers, under the wedding pagoda. The pagoda is licenced for civil ceremonies.

The Regency Suite

Within the restored Georgian Manor house, the Regency Suite is the largest of the wedding suites. The room is majestically decorated in neutral whites and greys, elegant chandeliers with floor to ceiling windows over looking the gardens. This room can pull off any colour scheme or wedding theme perfectly.

Reception Capacity - 200 guests

The Garden Suite
 

The elegant Garden suite boasts its own private patio and garden area. The room offers a blank canvas for you to decorate in your own style.

Reception Capacity - 150 guests

The Terrace Room

For a small intimate affair, the Terrace is an ideal setting for ceremonies up to 50 people or a small wedding breakfast for up to 30.The glass roof and Georgian windows allow cascades of natural light and provide idyllic views across the landscaped gardens.

The Blenheim Suite
 

On the first floor, the Blenheim suite boasts the charm and character of an old English manor house.

Catering

The hotel offers a selection of menu items for you to create your own bespoke menu, or alternatively the expert team can provide set menus.

You will have plenty of time to plan and arrange your catering options, as your wedding coordinator will meet with you before the big day to go through menu choices and table plans.

    I can honestly say it was the most perfect day and I was so happy we booked our reception with you. The room looked absolutely stunning and far better than anything I was expecting. From start to finish everything went smoothly and I believe this was down to the exceptional staff.

    The food was really nice as well (not that I had a chance to eat much of it) but all the guests commented on how nice the food was. Definitely 5* so please pass our thanks to the kitchen staff.

    I would also like it if you could pass our thanks on to all the staff involved on the day and particularly to Lily, as she did so well helping to set up the room with all my bits. Nothing was too much for any of them and they all worked extremely hard.
    Again thank you all so much for making our wedding day an amazing one and a day to remember. I can honestly say there was not one thing I didn't like or went wrong. I'm really sad it's all over with now and starting to feel like I want to do it again.

The staff worked so hard and were very helpful. We are very happy that we chose the Stifford Hall Hotel for our big day and would recommend to future brides and grooms for their special day.     We had such an amazing wedding day and having it at the Stifford Hall Hotel was the best decision we made. We wanted our day to be laid back and simple and that's exactly what we got. We left out some traditions and the guys at the hotel were more than happy to cater for our quirkiness. We didn't have anything to worry about leading up to it or on the actual day, everything was done for us. The gorgeous green surroundings were the perfect backdrop for our photos and there was so much space for us to spread out in. The library was very special and as our wedding theme was books it fitted in so perfectly. We had the perfect day and we definitely owe it to the smooth running and laid back nature of the hotel. A very happy couple indeed!

    We got married here on the 22nd October 2016, and had an amazing day. We had our ceremony in the orchard and then reception followed in the garden suite. Everything was perfectly organised and ran so smoothly all the staff were friendly and attentive. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking to get married it was perfect.
