Sticky Endings
Based in Oxford, but ready and willing to travel throughout the UK, Sticky Endings provides a great alternative to your run-of-the-mill stag or hen party, hosting murder mystery evenings for you and your friends, complete with props, clues and tailor-made scripts.
With actors at the ready to come to your home or an appointed venue, Sticky Endings allows you to choose from a number of murder mystery plots, with fancy dress options, that are sure to entertain your guests and make for a memorable evening!
The Service
Whether you wish to host your hen or stag do in your home, a hotel, pub, or other privately rented venue, Sticky Endings is happy to organise your evening. Their service provides lively, fun, and professional actors to turn your dinner party into a murder mystery evening that will put your guests right in the middle of a heinous crime that you will try to solve!
Every aspect of your evening is handled by friendly, professional staff whose goal is for your experience to be as unique and fun as possible. They also offer their help with finding a venue and are able to provide catering where necessary.
How It Works
Sticky Endings murder mysteries usually take place over dinner. The actors will stay with you, in character, all evening. There will be a gruesome death, lots of scenes as the story unfolds, and clues will appear too, to help you solve the mystery.
For Smaller Parties...
For parties up to 20 people Sticky Endings will personalise a script for you. You will be sent details of the characters, with costume ideas, that you and your guests will play. On the night, you will be given easy to follow instructions on your characters' contribution to the evening.
Don't worry, you don't need to prepare anything and no previous acting experience is required! You and your guests will have enormous fun seeing each other perform their roles, with a funny and personalised script.
For Larger Parties...
If your party has more than 20 guests, Sticky Endings will send 4 actors to perform scenes from the fully prepared script you will have already chosen. In between, the actors will circulate amongst you for you to interrogate to try and oust the murderer.
Your job is to assemble the clues to work out why the poor victim came to a sticky end, who the guilty party is and why they resorted to murder! At the end of the night a winner is announced.
Alternatively, you can book yourselves into one of Sticky Endings' many public events available around the south of England.

The actors were really good and there was a lot of laughing with and at each other! Emma had a lovely time and the dressing up theme was a great suggestion as well.

I organised Karl and his team as part of Luci's hen weekend. It was something a bit different, which everyone loved. From the moment I first dealt with Karl, he was amazingly prompt, responsive, and helpful. He skillfully constructed a very amusing personalised script which the hens and the bride-to-be found hilarious. He also effortlessly liaised with our caterer to ensure that our night ran really smoothly. All in all a great success and would highly recommend Sticky Endings to anyone!

We certainly had a great time. I also want to say thanks to the very helpful catering team that you've provided. I couldn't quite believe how much nicer and more enjoyable my own night was due to their help. I actually spent time with guests, not just working all evening in the kitchen, feeling stressed and anxious. People were very happy with the food which was well reflected by the fact that there was virtually nothing left apart from an odd cracker.
