You can hire St Tewdrics House exclusively for up to three nights, allowing you and your loved ones to fully immerse yourself into the experience, whilst enjoying the boutique accommodation in The House and The Lodge. Treating St Tewdrics House like your own home is strongly advised, ensuring each and every one of you not only relax into sumptuous feather down duvets, but also into the St Tewdrics House way of life. You can say your wedding vows outside in the Pergola, or inside The Courtyard, before celebrating with great food and merriment into the early hours. We are not the only ones that are impressed with St Tewdrics House, as they have won the 2022 Wedding Industry Award for 'Best Venue (Historic Building) in the South West' and have been recognised as a premier wedding venue.

About

St Tewdrics House is loved and owned by husband and wife Geraint Thomas OBE and Sara Thomas, along with Sara's parents Eifion and Beth. Geraint and Sara held their own wedding celebrations at the Villa in 2015 which is when the idea was born to transform this family home into an elite wedding venue. Lots of renovations took place before opening their doors for their first wedding in 2016.

Facilities

The 'I Do's'

St Tewdrics House is licensed for civil ceremonies for up to 150 guests. Chose between either The Courtyard or outside in Ty Haf (their pergola).

The Courtyard is a light and airy space, bathed in natural sunlight from its glass skylight. The chandeliers hang proud, reflecting the sun off the delicate crystals and peppering the space with ethereal light.

The pergola is surrounded by sweetly smelling wildflowers, setting the scene for a truly romantic ceremony.

Feast and be merry

The Courtyard offers the perfect space for your wedding breakfast and evening reception. The space is beautifully decorated with exposed original stone walls and wooden beams. The high ceilings, crystal chandeliers and large glass skylight provide a contemporary and bright atmosphere. Modern bi-folding doors offer stunning views over the gardens and meadows complementing the neutral colour palette of the room.

St Tewdrics House also has three reception rooms and a spacious hallway, a great space to welcome your guests. The House has been restored in a sympathetic way, retaining its original period features and providing a neutral canvas for you to get creative with. Guests can make themselves at home in the two main reception rooms, whilst the Drawing Room is a great space to take a short break during the wedding day and catch your breath.
