  If you’re looking for a wedding photographer who is cool, calm and an expert at his job, you need Simon! We are so glad we booked him for our wedding last year and were totally over the moon with the photographs. He captured the entire day, including all the parts we missed in the madness of it all, beautifully and without anyone even knowing he was there. We have had so many comments about how our guests didn’t realise he got absolutely everywhere throughout the day! From the first moment, Simon was quick to respond, always professional and kept us in the loop. On the day, he was simply wonderful. Totally calm about everything, nothing was too much bother. We bawled our eyes out watching the highlights video he created afterwards, and then again when he sent through the full gallery. Our house is almost exclusively decorated with wedding prints, which were so easy to order. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect experience with our wedding photographer and will cherish the photos forever. We can all relive the day whenever we like through Simon’s amazing work.

  Simon photographed our wedding and we could not recommend him highly enough! He made us feel immediately at ease and was an absolute professional with all our friends and family (who also couldn't rate him highly enough). The photographs he took were all very natural and un-posed which is exactly what we were after! He also kept an eye on the lighting outside so we were able to get some stunning sunset shots. As someone who doesn't like all the attention on me, even when it came to our couple shots, he used games to get the most candid of reactions from my husband and I and as a result, our photographs perfectly captured our wedding and will forever be cherished.   We feel so lucky to have had Simon as our wedding photographer. From our very first chat, Simon put us completely at ease. Wedding planning had us a bit frazzled, but his calm professionalism came through on the call, and after the first video chat, we knew we had found the right photographer. From there on, he checked-in with us at just the right moments leading up the big day, meaning photography was one less thing to stress about! On the day itself, Simon’s unobtrusive style meant that he blended in with our guests like he was one of them, allowing him to capture the candid moments. What we particularly loved was how he put us at ease when did we the ‘couples’ shoot’ element of the day. Rather than stilted, awkward, posed photography, Simon got us relaxed and to be ourselves. The photos that came out felt natural and looked like ‘us’. What we also loved was his attention to detail, constantly monitoring the light conditions, keeping us updated, yet being flexible and adapting to the day. It meant we had the most amazing golden hour shots, of which one was our stand-out favourite.
  We had opted for Simons’ hybrid photo-video service and we are so glad we did. Initially, we were skeptical how a one-person team could pull off both, but the results blew us away. As stunning as the photos were, the videos brought them to life. They allowed us to relive the whirlwind of a day and even see moments we missed or wouldn’t have seen. Most importantly, it allowed my sister, who couldn’t attend on the day, to feel part of our celebration. Highly, highly recommend. Simon, thank you so much for putting your all into capturing our big day, it was nothing short of magical. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

  Upon looking through Simon’s website I loved his style of photography and editing and thought it was perfect for us. From our initial first meeting prior to booking, we felt very comfortable and heard, and was so happy to know he was available for our wedding! When the big day arrived, Simon was amazing! He was quick to adapt to wedding hiccups/moody weather. The way he was everywhere and at the same time blending in like a chameleon, but also interacting with guests and making everyone feel at ease.   When it came to our couple photos, Simon had such a brilliant way of working. He didn’t just stand us somewhere and tell us to smile. Instead, he asked us questions, got us to chat to each other, and even turned parts of it into little games. It made us laugh, relax, and completely forget we were being photographed. Those moments where he was a bit more visible and structured are actually some of our favourite shots, because they feel so natural, full of our personality and captured the love we have for one another so effortlessly. He didn’t just take pictures, he captured moments. The laughter, the emotion, the tiny in-between bits that you don’t even realise are happening at the time. Looking through our gallery felt like watching the whole day unfold again in the most beautiful way. And the photos… just wow. They are everything we hoped for and more.   We cannot say enough good things about Simon Biffen - what a guy! We spent months scrolling social media and Googling photographers, but we just couldn’t find what we were looking for. I knew I wanted those beautiful, candid captures - the real moments, not stiff poses - but I just couldn’t find ‘the one’. Then I checked our venue’s recommended suppliers, searched Simon… and bingo. There he was. From the first moment we spoke, I knew we’d found exactly who we’d been searching for. On the day, Simon was incredible. So relaxed, so friendly, and somehow managing to be everywhere without ever feeling intrusive. For most of the day he blended in so naturally that we forgot he was even there - which is exactly why the photos are so special.

  I wish I could give Simon more than 5* he was absolutely fantastic. He did the photos for my sister’s wedding. Their photos were perfect, the unposed story telling vibe we were hoping for, and really beautiful and artistic. We also knew he was a fun, friendly and easy going person to have around on the wedding day, so we didn’t even think about going with anyone else. Simon was so brilliant to work with, he is really quick to respond to messages and really friendly and professional. He had lots of really helpful spot-on advice about organising the day.
  We had both engagement photos and wedding photos done. I am not someone who enjoys having their photo taken at all, and was anxious I would find the experience really awkward, but Simon put us both totally at ease and made the process just seem like a fun conversation. He totally fitted into the day, and made guests feel at ease. We are so so delighted with the photos. So many joyful moments of the day captured so beautifully, and we will treasure the photos. I honestly don’t think you could get better photographer than Simon.
