Sherbourne Park
Sherbourne Park is a beautiful Grade II-listed Georgian manor house surrounded by exquisite grounds and ideally located close to the historic towns of Stratford-upon-Avon and Warwick.
The extensive grounds lend themselves perfectly to hosting a glorious wedding alongside the River Avon. You can choose from three locations across the estate. Read on to find out more.
Facilities
There are three sites at Sherbourne Park:
Site 1 – Front Park is a Dry Site
'Build your own Wedding'. Sherbourne Park supply the ground, which is well maintained and mown ready for the Marquee and an electric point – no need for a generator. 15,000 square metres of grassland. It’s your wedding so you choose your own Marquee, décor, caterers, music etc.
Site 2 – South Lawn is also a Dry Site
This is also a ‘Build your own Wedding’ Site. You supply the Marquee, tables, chairs, music, entertainment, caterers etc. No need for a generator, they have an ample electricity supply – 3 phase and single phase. The lawn overlooks an avenue of trees down towards the River Avon. Surrounded by the beautiful gardens tenderly nurtured by Mrs Smith-Ryland and with a croquet lawn.
Site 3 - Walled Garden with Party Barn
This area as it suggests is situated in a Walled Garden with fruit trees all around the walls. In the Party barn, there is a Dance Floor, Sound System, Bar, Catering Kitchen, Toilets, and a Big Green Egg Barbecue.
All Saints Church – Sherbourne
Adjacent to Sherbourne Park is All Saints' Church which is a Grade ll* listed building designed by Sir George Gilbert Scott in a beautiful Victorian Gothic style.
Commissioned by the village patron, Louisa Ryland, in the 1860s, this building brings together the typical Victorian love for the language of flowers, and nature. The stone carvings are beautiful representing many different flowers and plants associated with Christian virtues, with its beautiful pink and grey.
