The venue features several indoor spaces, including the Grand Hall, which can be transformed for dining, and the Drawing Room, which leads to a conservatory ideal for dancing or evening entertainment.

A Bar Room or snug provides a quieter space for mingling, while extensive outdoor lawns and gardens accommodate drinks receptions, casual gatherings, and games like croquet or boules.

The estate’s flexibility allows couples to position marquees, outdoor seating, and garden furniture as desired, and parking and accessible facilities are included to ensure comfort and convenience for all attendees. These features help make the wedding weekend feel like more than just a single day, offering multiple spaces for celebration and relaxation.

Catering

Catering at Scorrier House is highly flexible, allowing couples to select their preferred caterers or external suppliers. The venue provides all necessary non-consumables, including furniture, linens, and glassware, to support any style of service. The Grand Hall is typically used for the formal wedding breakfast, seating around 120 guests, but warmer weather allows for informal or outdoor dining options such as desserts in the garden, barbecues, or terrace-style meals. Drinks receptions and canapés are often served on the lawns and terraces, while evening celebrations can include cocktails, snack bars, and a managed bar service. This approach gives couples complete freedom to create a cuisine style that matches their vision, whether formal plated meals, buffets, or more casual street-food concepts.

Accommodation

In total, the venue can accommodate around 20 to 22 guests on-site, with the option of a shepherd’s hut in the walled garden for a more intimate stay. Exclusive hire typically spans three days and two nights, allowing couples and close family to arrive the day before and stay after the wedding, enjoying all the venue’s facilities, including the pool, sauna, and hot tub. This arrangement ensures a relaxed, immersive wedding experience without the need for commuting to external hotels.
