Sam Gibson is a creative, documentary wedding photographer, living in Bristol with his wife and children. He has photographed weddings all over the world, and has won several awards for his stunning work. Without interrupting, Sam gets in amongst your guests to capture the emotion of the day, and tells the beginning of your story in beautifully lit, expertly edited images.
Before becoming a wedding photographer, Sam travelled across the globe directing films and documentaries for the BBC. He attributes his discreet style to the experience he gained during these ten years, and from here stemmed his love for telling peoples' stories, emotions and lives through photographs.
Sam showed an interest in photography from a young age, and his 20 years of experience is evident in his ability to take the perfect shot with just a moments notice. What Sam makes look fluid, and easy almost, is actually years of practice in setting up a scene, lighting the image and precise editing. With ten years working in the BBC, filming and directing documentaries all over the world, Sam was able to build his skills in storytelling and learnt the art of capturing peoples' emotions.

We did as you suggested and looked through the photos together tonight (with a bottle of wine) … they are absolutely wonderful! Sam was a complete pleasure to work with from the off; very personable and organised (our most responsive wedding supplier by a mile).
