The Watermill

Nestled snugly in the rolling countryside of the South West, Priston Mill's prestigious Watermill was constructed in 1720 and simply oozes character. With the Mill's well-preserved traditional features and breathtaking views, it makes the perfect setting for your wedding party, an ideal backdrop for photos and relaxed celebrations.

The Tythe Barn

Priston Mill's alternative venue, the Tythe Barn, was also built in 1720. The exposed oak beams of the pitched roof and unique stone features differentiate the Tythe Barn from other wedding venues, making it the number one choice for many marrying couples around the Bath area, or even considerably further afield.

Reception Drinks and Canapés

Start with a tipple; a sparkling peach cocktail is a beautiful light summer drink, while the spiced rum and apple warmer would make an ideal autumnal treat. Nibbles include fennel seed, pumpkin seed and thyme flatbreads with a variety of toppings, and appetisers such as katsu arancini and lamb bonbons with a green herb crust.

Perfect for sharing, couples can choose one starter, three main and one dessert platter from the fantastic range offered, which includes:

    The planning was well done - all our questions were answered and they kept in touch right through the planning process.

    Everything then went perfectly - the staff were brilliant at setting up exactly as we wanted (as we made most of the decorations ourselves) and the day couldn't have gone better. Everyone was great, the food was fantastic and we had the most brilliant day! Thank you Priston!

    My husband and I got married in the Watermill on the 26th January 2018, it is such a fantastic venue I would highly recommend it to everyone. On the day, the venue looked fantastic, the food was amazing and all the staff were great. A big thank you to Paul who made sure everything ran smoothly. We both were able to relax and enjoy the day rather than worrying about where we supposed to be and what would happen next. Paul was great at taking us aside and giving us a reminder about would happen next.

    Kim was also very helpful at our planning meeting and Oliver was incredibly helpful when I emailed finalising all the details - no question was too much and nothing was left unanswered.

    I just want to thank all the staff for making our special day so amazing.

    What a fantastic venue for a wedding! Absolutely amazing staff, they were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. Food was a really lovely and well presented barbecue option, which was very good.
