Originally a 'hobby framer' Duncan McDonald originally began with a company named DIY Framing to give his fellow hobbyists a place where they could easily find high quality equipment to make their own frames at home. Starting in 2002 his two shops soon expanded to include a training course and, eventually, PhotoFramer.

PhotoFramer is an online store, which allows you to create bespoke frames to hold you most treasured memories. These frames will be dispatched within a week of your order - 10 days if orders are larger or during the busy period. DIY Framing earned itself a reputation for producing high quality products and impeccable service and these are standards that they continue to meet with PhotoFramer.

The Frames

Cut out the middle man and create your own fantastic frame to truly capture the beauty of your wedding photos. PhotoFrame ensures that, rather than wandering through a dozen shops to try and find a frame that your photo 'sort of' fits you can have a guaranteed match. Your photo and frame that can be resized to your exact specifications so, whether you want a large pic to hang across the fireplace or something small for your bedside table, they've got you covered.

Your frame options range between gold/silver, white and a whole range of coloured frames or woods (oak to obeche). You can also choose the paper that your photo or image is printed on. The standard is semi- glossy pearl paper but there is also an option for a more expensive Hahnemuhle pearl paper, great for photos and artwork of a very high quality.

Services

The company delivers all across the UK, though prices to Scotland and the Channel Islands may be more expensive. The photos are checked for minor issues before printing, red-eye or heavy shadow, before being printed on a 12 ink Canon image PROGRAF iPF8300 printer, to get the best results for your picture.

Cords, photo hooks and pins all come as standard with your order, so your frames will come ready to hang up straight away.

Photo frames are delivered by courier though there is also an option for you to collect it yourself.
