  Pauntley Court is absolutely a hidden gem. Throughout our wedding preparation from venue viewing to our big day, Pauntley Court (in particular, Melissa, Rachel and Holly) provided consistent support and guidance. On our big day, Pauntley Court provided amazing indoor and outdoor locations for us to have ceremony, reception, wedding breakfast and first dance. We have received a lot of compliments from our families and guests about Pauntley Court. Everyone was very delighted to this country house wedding venue and the warmness from the Pauntley Court team. In particular, we had our big day in the beginning of summer - Pauntley Court perfectly matched to the summer vibe. After the wedding, we have already been thinking about when we visit Pauntley again for our anniversary!

  Long story short - if you are making a wedding venue decision, look no further.
  
  I waited 6 months before leaving a review to make sure I'm not just riding on high emotions after the wedding. But truthfully, all the high emotions are still there because this place was so perfect. We fell in love with Pauntley Court at first sight even though we visited during a gloomy rainy afternoon in December. Not even for a second at any point it felt like a commercial “venue”, it has a soul that you can feel as soon as you step on the grounds.
  
  Our guests travelled from all over the world and Pauntley Court was so perfect to show them the English experience. Everyone was so impressed by the house, rooms and the beautiful gardens.
  
  Melissa was so incredibly kind in every way since the moment we met her the first time. Absolutely nothing felt like too much to ask for neither during preparation nor on the day.
  
  We had the wedding day exactly the way we wanted, absolutely everything could be done like we imagined - from choosing the ceremony space among multiple options to arranging dinner the night before. The most magical time however happened after the wedding when guests staying in the house gathered in the kitchen having tea and leftover cake, you can’t create a core memory like this in most of other wedding venues.
  
  Another highlight was the amazing Rachel. At first I didn’t fully believe the reviews about how great she was, and I admittedly was quite skeptical if one person would be able to manage everything we wanted. And how wrong I was to ever doubt! Rachel ran the show so seamlessly and impeccably as if there was a team of 10. Our guests loved her as much as we did.
  
  We can’t wait to go back to Pauntley for our anniversary. Thank you Melissa and all the team for making memories of a lifetime for us!

  We chose Pauntley Court for our cozy winter micro-wedding in November, and from the moment Melissa showed us around, we knew it was somewhere truly special. We were hosting only immediate family, with half travelling from overseas, so it was important to find a venue that felt intimate and genuinely welcoming while still feeling like a once-in-a-lifetime place. Pauntley exceeded every expectation.
  
  From the thoughtful details that made our whole weekend feel luxurious, to Alex, our wonderful wedding planner, who took care of every detail, everything felt effortless and personal. Our ceremony in the Panel Room was beautiful and perfectly suited to a winter celebration. After chatting with Melissa, we chose to host our wedding breakfast in the Flower Room, and it couldn’t have been more perfect — warm, cosy and ideal for our family meal. The entire weekend felt so special, it’s a place we'll always remember.

  Our wedding at Pauntley Court in September was everything we hoped for and more. We loved that we could choose the parts of a traditional wedding day that mattered most to us — for example enjoying cocktails and a ceilidh, while swapping a formal wedding cake cutting for doughnuts and s’mores at the fire pit outside looking for shooting stars, which our guests absolutely loved.
  The day ran perfectly from start to finish, and our guests had so much fun exploring all the beautiful spaces the venue has to offer. It was wonderful having both of our families and friends staying together and sharing tea, toast and stories in the morning, which made the whole experience feel even more special.
  Our favourite moments were spent in the gardens, where we could sneak away for a quiet cup of tea in the sunshine before our sleepy guests came downstairs for breakfast. The gardens gave us lots of moments to really breathe and soak in the whole experience. The team at Pauntley Court were efficient, experienced, and made everything feel effortless. It was truly magical and a place we will always treasure.

  Words cannot do justice to the magic of Pauntley Court and all that you made possible for us. From the moment Keddy and I arrived, we felt not only at home, but profoundly lucky to be there.
  Firstly, thank you for bringing our vision to life. The long table down the lawn was picture perfect, and the ceremony exactly as we dreamed it would be. It was everything we had imagined. The connection from the ballroom to the gardens, the intimacy of the drawing room, the darts room (enjoyed until 5am, apparently!) — each space flowed seamlessly into the next, allowing guests to mingle naturally all day and creating the most relaxed, joyous evening.
  Thank you too, for being there on the day and between the logistics and the weather, making it work! Rachel, Rebecca and yourself were beyond helpful, and we felt so cared for. It truly allowed us to relax, knowing that everything would be taken care of.
  Our guests were enchanted with it all. Each room held its own magic, every space alive with the laughter and embraces that made it unforgettable. The ballroom especially, opening onto sun-drenched lawns in the golden evening light, was the heart of our celebration.
  Since that wonderful day, we have been overwhelmed by compliments — about the day itself, about Pauntley Court, and about you and your team. Many saying it was the best wedding they've ever attended, and wishing they could re-live it (success!). Everyone remarked on how perfectly it reflected us, and truly, Pauntley Court possesses a rare quality - its ability to be both magnificent and utterly welcoming. It is, in every sense, a home that was meant for celebration.

  If I could give 1000 ⭐️, I would! From the moment I saw Pauntley Court on the Hitched website, I was in tears. Coming from the US to the UK we wanted a place that included accommodations. The love, care, thought, intention that goes into this venue is palpable. I don’t love using the word “venue” as it feels more like you’re being welcomed into someone’s precious home that they’ve allowed you to step into. The history of the space is also incredible, and what an honor to be a part of! The crew at Pauntley think of everything - from robes and slippers in the rooms, to Rachel, an absolute godsend, cooking a full English for brekkie. We had an intimate wedding of 16 at Pauntley in October and every inch of it is magical. The pristine gardens, which allow for a multitude of photo ops, the art on the walls, the bathrooms, oh, the BATHROOMS are gorgeous with soaking tubs and oozing charm. Melissa, the owner, is the sweetest most helpful kind soul there is. All she wants is for your special day or event to be perfect for you. And it’s just that - perfect. Rachel, the keeper of the house, is a gem and as kind as they make them. Holly, who was our coordinator (included as part of the wedding package) was a massive help on the day of the wedding. We couldn’t have done it without these three powerhouse women! They made us at ease, provided vendor suggestions, which made the planning so incredibly smooth I felt like I hardly had to do a thing. Please get married here and be a part of Pauntley’s story.

  We loved how unique Pauntley was compared to other venues. It really is like no other. It was the closest we felt we could get to a Tuscany-style wedding in the UK. Magical. So beautifully kept and somewhere you just don’t want to leave. We felt so lucky to have found somewhere that felt so different and special. It was a perfect size for our smaller wedding group – not too big with cosier spaces that made it easier to ensure everyone stayed together. The standard of accommodation was beautiful. It didn’t feel like a wedding venue but instead simply a beautiful place to stay. We would love to stay again!
  
  The outside spaces at Pauntley Court were like no other. The unique spot for an aisle under the quince trees really sold it for us. We were praying our little hearts out that it wouldn’t rain so we could get married there.
  
  The support from our wedding co-ordinator, Rebecca, was excellent. All my questions were answered and she was always on hand right up to and on the day. I felt at ease and it all went perfectly.
  
  I can only praise how happy we were with everything and how grateful we were to be able to include Huxley, our wonderful dog, on our wedding day.

  It’s hard to even know where to start with Pauntley Court because it truly is a one-of-a-kind, hidden gem of a venue. Melissa, who owns it, is the most attentive and caring person we could have wished for. She has thought of absolutely everything to make this venue not just beautiful, but completely special and personal for each couple. No question was too difficult, and no detail was overlooked. Melissa and her team, including our wonderful coordinator Jilly, made everything flow seamlessly. Jilly was always there to communicate, help us bounce ideas, and ensured the day ran perfectly smooth. I was nervous about things going wrong, but thanks to them, nothing did.
  The venue itself is breathtaking, like stepping into an Italian dream right in the heart of England. The grounds are filled with beautiful flowers and unique spaces, so each part of our weekend felt like a new adventure. Whether it was the lavender courtyard, the arches for dinner or the ceremony among the quince trees, every corner was magical. The house itself is something out of a period drama, absolutely stunning.
  In short, Pauntley Court exceeded every expectation. Our guests couldn’t believe a place like this existed in England, and it’s even more beautiful in real life than on social media. We thank our lucky stars that we found this venue!

  I cannot praise Melissa, her team and Pauntley Court enough. We were looking for venues for a whole year before we came across Pauntley Court and my gosh it was so unique.
  From the very first video call with Melissa, Pauntley Court just stood out. For one it is the most unique and magical place we've visited but also how wonderful Melissa was. On the initial call we were so taken with how bubbly Melissa was but also how nothing seemed too much trouble. This definitely continued throughout the entire wedding planning and on the weekend itself. Melissa would make herself available for any question we had (measuring the stretch tent, finding us an outdoor tap) - nothing seemed to phase her and she was open to anything - exactly what we were looking for in a wedding venue.
  Now onto Pauntley Court itself - I don't really think words can do it justice. The venue is simply stunning, every corner you turn there is something else to grab at your heart and pull you to the venue. We also adored how you had use of the venue from 12pm on the Friday until 4pm on the Sunday. It meant we could have a rehearsal on the Friday, steam all the clothing, unpack and join our wedding party for drinks and a BBQ in the lavender garden on the Friday night. While Sunday enabled us to have a leisurely start while also reliving all the memories from the last night over breakfast with our friends.

  Our wedding venue was absolutely breathtaking – the moment we saw it, we knew it was exactly what we wanted. All our family and friends were blown away by how beautiful it was, and the whole experience was made even better by the incredible team. Melissa was so welcoming and friendly, making it feel like our home away from home. Supporting us throughout the weekend and helping us with the little things that always crop up. Rachel was a massive help with the babysitting with her daughter, allowing our siblings to relax knowing our nieces and nephews are being well looked after. And of course, Holly, our wedding coordinator, who was truly next level – so supportive, organised, and helpful every step of the way. She was a source of calm for my wife on the day and literally supported with everything. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place or a better team to bring our day to life! It will forever be in our memories and we already are looking forward to being able to visit again in the future. We’ve had so many comments from family and friends on how stunning the venue was! Couldn’t recommend it more! A special place in our hearts!

  From the moment I first arrived at Pauntley Court, I knew it was the perfect place for Matt and I to get married. We had always envisioned an intimate wedding but struggled to find a venue that truly fit — until we discovered Pauntley Court. We immediately fell in love with its beauty, rich history, and unique charm. The house itself is stunning, tastefully decorated, and timeless, and every window offers breathtaking views of the gardens. They were so beautiful that, despite it being early April, we planned to have our ceremony outdoors — and thanks to the incredible weather, our dream came true.
  The love and care that Melissa and her team pour into Pauntley Court is truly tangible; you can feel it the moment you arrive.
  Melissa went above and beyond for us, generously making time for visits before the big weekend and always being available whenever we reached out. Nothing was ever too much trouble. She also introduced us to our wonderful wedding suppliers, all of whom were highly professional and helped make the weekend so special. Through Melissa, we were introduced to Melanie, our wedding coordinator, who was lovely. She took the time to get to know us beforehand, ensuring that everything ran smoothly on the day — and it did.
  Our wedding was absolutely magical, thanks to Melissa, Rachel (the most incredible housekeeper, for whom we are so grateful), Melanie, and all of our amazing suppliers: The Watering Hole, The Ledbury Florist, Hassle Free Weekends, Tusk Collection, Charlotte Holder Bridal Hair, and Charlotte Tilbury Bridal Makeup.
  We created memories that we will cherish forever — it was even more wonderful than we had ever imagined. We are extremely grateful to Pauntley Court for giving us the most perfect start to our married life.
