The Spaces
The Glasshouse & Courtyard
Originally known as the Fernery and dating from 1864, the Grade II* listed Glasshouse was designed by Mathew Digby Wyatt and built to house the Victorian passion for ferns. Flooded with natural light and lush green tones, it is a uniquely beautiful space for ceremonies of up to 100 guests seated. The landscaped Duke's Yard courtyard — designed by Todd Longstaffe-Gowan — connects the spaces and creates a wonderful setting for drinks receptions and outdoor dining, with menus ranging from wood-fired pizza to relaxed sharing feasts.
The Coachhouse, The Barn & The Stables
Inspired by early drawings of original oak trusses and smoked oak panelling, the re-envisioned Coachhouse provides a generous, richly atmospheric setting for wedding breakfasts of up to 180 guests. One of the oldest buildings on the estate, The Barn has been newly refurbished to celebrate its 14th-century heritage while accommodating up to 180 dancing guests. For late-night gatherings, The Stables — once home to Duke, the Earl of Bridgewater's beloved horse — offers an intimate space for up to 50 guests, crafted from natural materials that echo the working estate's heritage.
What's Included
Every wedding at Duke's Yard includes reception drinks, a three-course wedding breakfast with wine and toast drinks, décor essentials — tables, oak chairs, linens, tableware and signage — and the support of a dedicated, award-winning Wedding Co-ordinator.
