Michael Marker of Michael Marker Photography, has spent his life traveling the world and developing his skills, becoming a master of this art.

Whilst currently based in the coastal town of Plymouth, Michael Marker was born and raised in the wild heart of South Africa. He developed a love of photography from a very early age, using his father's SLR camera to capture the beautiful landscapes one can only find in South Africa, before finally getting his own camera at the age of 12. Since then Michael has travelled the world sharpening his eye for a great shot and growing his love of photography.
Michael's basic approach to photographing a wedding boils down to capturing the emotion and essence of each moment, in as unobtrusive a way as possible, allowing each scene to play out naturally.
Relishing the use of natural light, Michael uses it to add different moods and tones to each moment as the sun rises and sets throughout the day. This allows each person in his photos to look relaxed and natural due to no flash being used.
This technique, coupled with his love of composition and creative angles, enables Michael to produce a plethora of photos to fill up your wedding albums with.
