The specialist wedding coordinators at Mercure Oak are eager to discuss and develop your dreams with you and look forward to transforming them all into a reality.

Every need is met with ease at Hatfield Mercure Oak, from the flawless presentation of the ceremony and reception rooms to the tantalising wedding breakfast cuisine. While the hospitality team have years of experience and are ready to offer valuable advice, they understand that every event is personal and love to consider new, exciting ways to host weddings at their venue.


The hotel offers two packages, one of which caters for larger celebrations, the other for small. 'The Grand Affair' package is ideal for parties of over 50 people and offers a menu-tasting for the bride and groom, room hire and a drinks package, whereas 'The Intimate Wedding' suits gatherings of under 50 guests and includes a four-course meal, room hire and a red carpet arrival.

Also on offer is a fantastic 'Winter Weddings' special package. Marrying between November and February is an effective way to save money, and Mercure Oak weddings during those colder months are cosy and magical, with seasonal cuisine and décor.


Orchard Suite

The largest reception facility in the hotel, The Orchard Suite is bright and airy and features a screen and projector for photos. As it is situated on the ground floor, it is wheelchair-accessible.

    A special mention to Sumi - he is amazing. He was very calming and professional when faced with a tired and emotional me and was extremely patient. Reception were really helpful when I needed to book an extra room at the last minute.

    Tony is also lovely, he was great on the night and arranged for tables to be laid in the function room and a separate breakfast buffet to be set up in there the morning after so that we could all have breakfast together (this was also good for other guests as we did have quite a few still excited small children in our party so they could run about without disturbing other guests). Great idea.

    The night itself – everyone had a great time. The food was fantastic and all the staff were really friendly and helpful.
