The group was founded by cellist Rachel Shakespeare in 2008 at the Royal Northern College of Music. The dynamic roster of young, professional musicians, bring great life to the magnificent ensemble.
The group provide an extensive repertoire to suit a great variety of tastes and continue to deliver outstanding performances for clients across the length and breadth of the UK.
Leos Strings are available to perform as Quartet, Trio or Duo in order to suit individual requirements. They offer an eclectic catalogue of music from contemporary to classical compositions. With extensive experience in wedding performances, Rachel is happy to guide any new brides and grooms through the decision of choosing the perfect repertoire.
The group are continually adding new pieces their diverse repertoire and are willing to arrange the majority of pieces to suit a string ensemble with enough notice and subject to a small fee.
