This historic Grade I-listed early Georgian manor house, surrounded by 220 acres of picturesque gardens and parkland, offers an idyllic setting for fairytale weddings. A variety of magnificent rooms are available to host civil ceremonies and receptions for up to 120 guests, and the entire venue is capable of catering for up to 230 people.

Exceptional in-house caterers will create an unforgettable wedding menu for you and your guests to enjoy, and celebratory drinks and canapes could be enjoyed out in the stunning grounds, which are full of fascinating follies and fragrant flower-gardens.

Kings Weston House is a Grade 1 listed building that was completed in 1719 and designed by Sir John Vanbrugh, who also designed Blenheim Palace. The house boasts a plethora of 18th-century features, including magnificent ceilings, marble fireplaces, and a stunning suspended central staircase. It is elegant and characterful, yet retains the charm of a much loved family home.

Surrounding Kings Weston House are picturesque woodlands and green fields, all of which are accessible to our guests. The estate is situated just 10 minutes from Bristol City centre, and a short drive from both the M4 and M5 motorways. Extensive parking is available on site. Kings Weston House is home to its owner Norman Routledge, who has restored the property to its former glory over recent years, bringing to you're wedding a true feeling of warmth, care and love. Several of the rooms are licensed to host civil marriage and partnership ceremonies and receptions, the choice of which depending on the size of your wedding party.

The Portrait Gallery - Located at the very front of the house, this majestic light, bright and airy room is licensed for civil ceremonies with up to 100 guests, and is also the perfect spot for celebratory drinks and canapés!

The Grand Staircase - This breathtaking space showcases a magnificent sweeping staircase, and can cater for civil ceremonies and receptions for 120 guests.

The Vanbrugh Room - Featuring stunning views across to Wales, this beautiful area can accommodate 100 for a ceremony, or 120 for a formal wedding breakfast.

The Breakfast Room - For intimate weddings, The Breakfast Room, which overlooks the scenic gardens, can hold 12 for a wonderful traditional dinner.

Oak Room - Featuring panelled walls and beautiful English Heritage wallpaper, this stylish room is perfect for small wedding ceremonies or dinners with up to 50 guests.

The Canaletto Bar - With comfy sofas to relax in and serving local beers on tap, this exceptional bar leads directly onto The Grand Staircase and Oak Room.


Wedding Breakfast At Kings Weston House; their menus are designed with choice and price in mind. Their versatile food options allow you to choose a starter, main course and dessert from a variety of exquisite dishes, with charging according to individual price brackets from £20ph.

Menus include: Hog roasts, hot buffets, Formal 2 or 3 courses, BBQ’s in the summer and evening Ploughman's.

The venue has been renovated and is as stately, glamorous and homely as you can imagine. Weddings at Kings Weston are amazeballs.

    The house and grounds are fantastic walked down the grand staircase when entering the ceremony and what an entrance - I had everyone in tears. The wedding coordinator Naomi and owner Norman were very accommodating and did all they could to put me at ease.
