We got married on the 2nd May 2026 and celebrated our marriage with our wedding reception at the Hythe Imperial. However, the amazing experience started way before this. When we met Georgia, we felt so comfortable and relaxed, and a large part of the wedding weight was lifted. She met with us and our family, and we got to know each other a bit before touring the beautiful venue. She was so kind and genuine, and you could see she genuinely loved her job and believed in it. This made it so easy to leave our wedding in her capable hands. She was easy to contact with any questions as well. We got an amazing welcome pack with all the information we could need and a breakdown of the process, which helped us with other parts of the wedding that had nothing to do with the venue. We had regular updates and meetings with Georgia to keep our minds at ease. When hiccups or bumps came in the road, she was right on it and helped sort everything out. I cannot fault her nor sing her praises highly enough. We got to have an amazing wedding menu tasting. We were so looked after and cared for by the catering team. The food was absolutely insane. I have a picky husband, and he was set on a burger for his wedding meal but fell in love with the chicken dish. The food was just as good on the day. The compliments and reviews were non-stop, with everyone raving about the food. It all came out in a timely manner and was served beautifully. They were amazing at catering for guests with dietary requirements as well. No one was left hungry. I give the chicken, Parmentier potatoes, and white chocolate and raspberry roulade 1000 out of 10. The evening buffet went down an absolute treat too. The room was beautiful and lovingly finished by Georgia to ensure the day went smoothly. Gorgeous views and gardens for photos. Amazingly, there is a bar and a champagne bar, which stopped queues for drinks. The champagne bar was beautiful for a private moment with my husband after the ceremony, as well as for the guests to enjoy. The bartender, I think Ted, was an absolute legend. He looked after us so well and made sure we had everything we needed. He even looked after our trainers to put on after the photos. He was so kind and funny, which really helped to keep us relaxed. We were welcomed to the venue with some delicious drinks and canapés! The manager, Lewis, checked in on us regularly. He said personal goodnights to us and checked in on us the following day when he saw us in the hotel. The hotel room was gorgeous. The bed was so comfy. Beautiful views. Lovely big bath and shower as well. A mini fridge was so useful due to the heat over the wedding weekend. The room was so clean as well! The facilities available at the hotel are amazing, and all the guests loved them – especially the pool. If you are thinking of booking a wedding venue, book the Hythe Imperial. We got married on 25th April 2026 and had the most perfect day. The hotel is lovely and the beautifully decorated outside wedding location created a relaxed and intimate vibe for us and our guests. Georgia and her team were on hand to make sure all of the different arrangements came together perfectly, without a hitch, and we had complete trust in her, meaning that we could simply relax and enjoy. The drinks on the sundeck, wedding breakfast and evening canapes were all delicious, with our guests complimenting the service and quality. The evening party, supported by their in-house recommended DJ Sugar Promotions ended the day on a real-high. Thank you to all involved for a fabulous wedding day.
We had our wedding at the Hythe Imperial and the whole day was perfect start to finish. All the staff were so lovely and really went the extra mile to make our day so special. The venue is stunning; you can’t beat being right on the coast as well as the beautiful grounds and gorgeous interior. We stayed in the Hythe Suite, which was so beautifully decorated, spacious with amazing views and all the amenities we could possibly wish for! And we have to mention the food, everything we tasted all weekend was amazing quality, everyone came away commenting how delicious! A true 5-star experience

We got married at the Hythe Imperial on the 28th March 2026 and it was the most amazing day from start to finish. We had Georgia as our wedding planner and from day 1 she was honestly amazing, she always had the time to answer any questions, show us around and plan the most spectacular day for us. Georgia and her team offered a 10/10 service. On the day Georgia helped myself and husband remain calm at all times, making sure we enjoyed our day and we did. We were married at Hythe Imperial in late March. We just wanted to send out a heartfelt thank you to all the staff for making the occasion a truly joyous and memorable one. Thank you to Tori and Georgia for all their hard work, guidance, input and calm (sometimes quite excitable) presence throughout planning, and thank you to Georgia for her organisational skills on the day. All the reception staff were great throughout our stay, supporting our guests to get settled in, sometimes with early check-ins, and it was lovely to meet with Portia again, as we started this whole experience with her showing us around last year. Thank you specifically to Hobi and Johnny who were kind and approachable throughout. The kitchen manager was great too, whipping up a vegan meal for one of our guests on the day, an oversight on our part! The food was a big hit with all attendees, so thank you to all the kitchen staff as well. Hythe Imperial ballroom looked amazing. We, and our guests, were so pleased and impressed. All the floor, cleaning and bar staff were helpful and hard working throughout. Thank you very much!
Fantastic hotel venue for our wedding day! Georgia ensured everything went smoothly with all the plans. We had small informal gathering of close family & friends, the Elizabeth Room was the perfect setting. Luke (marketing team) did an amazing job taking plenty of snaps throughout the day, as we preferred to not have an official photographer. The wedding lunch was beautifully presented and enjoyed by all (the blade of beef being a firm favourite)! Big thanks to the Chef ???????? & his staff.
The waiting & bar staff were full of smiles and very efficient. A big shout out to Charlie in the Champagne Bar for putting up with us! We stayed the night in a stunning room with beautiful sea views, our friends also stayed, they too complemented on the rooms and will return! A fabulous breakfast finished a truly wonderful day/evening. Big thanks to all the staff who make this Hotel a great place to stay. Hate to talk money but it was a fantastic venue for such a good price.

The Hythe Imperial put on a great show for our wedding day. We had 100 guests enjoying an excellent buffet meal followed by an amazing retro music disco. All the staff were very helpful and everyone enjoyed the evening.
A very special evening winter wedding, complete with magical Christmas decorations. Excellent service from our wedding planner who had taken over from the original person, she was up to speed on everything. And as many guests stayed in the hotel the party continued over breakfast and during walks on the beach.
