Hungarian hall opened its doors to events 25 years ago and swiftly realised its capability for incredible weddings. In 2007 Hungarian Hall Events was opened, specifically to cater for weddings and other important milestones.

Specialising in marquee weddings, couples can tie the knot surrounded by stunning gardens, trees and grazing deer, providing a tranquil wedding for all.

The venue is nestled into the Suffolk countryside with acres of lawn and grounds to explore and is located near the historic market town, Woodbridge.

Facilities

Danube Suite

The Hall gained its civil ceremony licence in 2008 and has now hosted hundreds of weddings in its spectacular Danube Suite.

Decorated with champagne tones, the room has a light and airy feel, making it the perfect blank canvas to serve as the backdrop to all your wedding requirements.

Placed next to the marquee, you can effortlessly move between your ceremony and reception with ease. Say your 'I do's' with views of lawns, ornate ponds, and stunning water fountains.

Optional extras can be added to the room if your vision requires.

Outdoor Ceremony Options

Hungarian Hall Estate also offers four outdoor wedding ceremony options.

The Summerhouse

Have a beautiful outdoor ceremony underneath the Summerhouse, an ornate pastel iron structure on the marquee lawn.

The Willow Tree

The beautiful Willow Tree, set in the wildflower meadow is a stunning back drop for your outdoor ceremony.

The Ancient Oak

Yet another stunning backdrop for your ceremony, the majestic Oak tree is set within the meadow, with beautiful views of the Hall.

The Pond

If a waterside location is more to your liking, then this location at the top of the meadow might be your perfect ceremony position.

Civil Ceremony Capacity - 150 guests.

The Marquee

Located on the grounds near the Danube Suite, the marquee is the perfect space for your wedding breakfast and reception.

The marquee has separate areas for greeting guests, dining and bar, and, once the breakfast is over, a curtain can be raised to reveal an incredible dance floor with an intact mirror ball.

The blank canvas nature of the marquee allows you to decorate it to your heart's content.

Catering

Hungarian Hall Estate has no in-house catering. They offer two catering options.

You can book on a venue-only basis and then hire one of their approved caterers; Jamie Lee Smith Catering, Roff Caterers, Paul Thompson or Peter Harrison.

Alternatively, they can offer a package deal that includes all the following.

• Exclusive access to the venue from 9am the day before to 1pm the day after your wedding
• Indoor wedding ceremony (small additional charge for outdoor ceremony in one of four locations)
• Limewash Chiavari or Gold chairs
• Tables, linen, crockery, cutlery, glassware
• Reception drink service, with a corkage allowance
• Canapés
• 3 course wedding breakfast
• Cake cutting
• Tea & Coffee
• Corkage for 2 bottles of wine per table & toast drinks
• Evening food for all day guests
• Evening disco & DJ
• Pay bar
• Bar & music licence until midnight

Accommodation

The Apple Barn

Comprising of 5 suites. The Apple Barn has been beautifully designed for you, your friends and family to have the ultimate weekend, celebrating your marriage.

The Apple Barn sleep up to 20 with 10 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms. There is the additional option for 3 sofa beds, suitable for under 12s.

The main family suite Bramley has 6 bedrooms and a large open plan kitchen/dining area and lounge. Is perfect for getting ready on the morning of the big day. This suite has a large patio with dinning space, BBQ and a hot tub.

The other four one-bedroom suites all have en-suite bathroom, living/dining area, kitchenette and access to shared patio’s, gardens and BBQs.
