About

Holmewood Hall is owned and ran by Country House Weddings, who were established in 1988 and have four other venues in the South of England. With this level of experience, the team have completely renovated the hall for it to be the perfect wedding venue.

History

The 19th century hall you see today extended between 1873 and 1877 by William Wells was built on the site of a mid-17th century house. Parts of the original house can be found in the present property, for example the fireplace in The Drawing Room was built on the wall of the original house to join them together and the present staircase incorporates the original staircase.

Facilities

Holmewood Hall has a wonderful ceremony room with a long aisle for the bride to walk down and large windows showcasing the beautiful surroundings; allowing the natural light to flood in and shine onto your and your guests.

The room also features a grandly decorated ceiling showing off the historic aspects of the house as well as a large mirror at one end of the room to reflect your romantic wedding scene. The perfect space for the happy couple to say their "I dos".

Couples will have several evening reception rooms to choose from to suit their personal preference alongside their style and theme.

Catering

Holmewood Hall understands how vital your wedding food is to the day and so they have a dedicated premium catering team that provide an efficient service whilst serving wonderful spreads of food.

From bespoke menus tailored around your preferences or extensive menus with locally sourced ingredients, you'll enjoy a wonderful wedding breakfast, delicious canapés or an evening buffet on your special day.

Accommodation

Holmewood Hall can accommodate up to 30 guests in their stylishly furnished rooms.
