Specialising in stunning cakes fit for a celebrity wedding, Have Some Cake produces some true showstoppers. They are not only works of art but also completely delicious. All of the cakes are bespoke, so you know that nobody else has a cake like yours.

Choose a baker whose buckets of experience are poured into every cake. They offer cake tasting sessions so you can decide which flavours you want your final cake to be. They also let you try their macarons to!

About

Enrique trained as an architect before discovering he could put his talent for creating structures to other uses. He loves crafting something that can be treated as both art and dinner, so has been building wedding cakes for couples with his business since 2013.

Because of his background, he can take inspiration from everywhere - from paintings to cinema. He loves trying new techniques to make his cakes even more unique, sumptuous and stunning.

He has baked for birthdays and made celebration cakes that even Prince Edward and the Countess of Wessex have tried, but he loves making wedding cakes even more.

For him, wedding cakes are where he gets to let his talents shine. With cakes that are too gorgeous not to photograph, he manages to stun with his design and the flavour. He really wants the cakes he makes for you to linger in your memory forever.

The Cakes

If you want something magnificent to centrepiece your cake table, Have Some Cake is the place to go for it. From stunning white cakes which play with shape and shadow, to vibrant masterpieces that are the very definition of opulence, they can do it all.

They have a penchant for gold and silver leaf, which can be used to bring some glitz to any cake design. They also have great experience of forming sugar flowers which can be used to decorate cakes of any size and look startlingly realistic.

The cakes will be designed bespoke to you, although they do also have a Romantiques collection which are pre-designed. Although your bespoke cake can be any flavour you choose, the Romantiques come in four flavours:

  • Lemony Lemon filled with lemon custard and vanilla buttercream
  • Victorian Sponge filled with raspberry conserve and vanilla buttercream
  • Luscious Chocolate filled with chocolate buttercream
  • Carrot Surprise filled with vanilla buttercream

The Service

Enrique requires just a few pieces of information when you book your wedding cake, including the date and number of guests. He asks for a short brief, and after that he sketches designs.

You are asked to suggest three flavours of cake, which he bakes and invites for you to taste test. This is deducted off the price of your finished wedding cake. Once you have settles on a design, he will create your cake and deliver it to you, across the country, for your special day.

Macarons

Enrique is an expert in making macarons. This exquisite French confection would be perfect decorating your cake, as favours for your guests, or even as a pyramid centrepiece. He can decorate them with brush strokes or icing to make them personalised to you.

He can make them in a wide range of flavours. These include:

  • Orange and pineapple
  • Cherry and dark chocolate
  • Passionfruit
  • Coconut and lime
  • Rose
  • Pistachio
  • Earl Grey
  • Coffee and peanut butter
  • Chilli and Chocolate
  • Vanilla and amaretto
