Farnham Castle has two lovely chapels that can be used for Church of England wedding ceremony. The Norman Chapel would be the perfect chapel for a traditional wedding. It features an historic grand stone arch, wooden floors, and beautiful church windows, and can seat up to 80 wedding guests.
Alternatively, if you would like an intimate ceremony for up to 60 guests, you can use The Bishop's Chapel. This space has stunning white walls and architectural design, which reflects the rich history of the castle.
Outdoor weddings can take place under the Fox’s arch, and the most popular wedding ceremony space is the bright and airy Lantern Hall. Alternatively, The Great Hall, Winchester Suite or The Library are all licensed and beautiful for wedding ceremonies at Farnham Castle.
During the spring, summer and autumn months, celebratory drinks and canapés take place on the Great Lawn which offers spectacular views over the market town of Farnham.
The Great Hall
The 12th-century Great Hall features a grand fireplace and exquisite gold framed portraits that is ideal for seated dining. The wooden floor, beautiful stained glass windows and soft neutral colour scheme make The Great Hall a spectacular space that will impress your guests.
