Based in the South West of England, Elizabeth Jane Baldry is a solo harpist and composer and is the only silent movie harpist in the world! She has travelled around the world, showcasing her music and performing at weddings.

Elizabeth can play at any part of your wedding and transform the atmosphere from the ceremony, the drinks reception through to the wedding breakfast. She is happy to play anything you my request and is not only a wonderful musician but also a lovely and friendly person.

Elizabeth Jane Baldry studied music at Exeter University and the Royal College of Music. Certainly an acclaimed harpist, she has experience performing at sold out audiences across the US, Italy and France.

Throughout her career she has uniquely researched and covered Victorian Fairy Harp Music, leading her to make appearances at the Royal Academy of Art and major French exhibitions. She is the perfect musical option for whimsical and ethereal weddings or blessings. You and your guests can enjoy her beautiful music covering songs from five centuries of harp solos, and she even composes some of her own music.

Having a harpist at your wedding is the perfect way to add some stunning music to the background ebb and flow of conversation at your drinks reception and wedding breakfast. Plus, it is a romantic sound to walk down the aisle too, with its soft sounds cushioning the silences but not dominating the room.

Elizabeth is also talented and creating films, as she is the founder of Chagford Film making group. Elizabeth is a true musical lover who enjoys singing at the church choir on Sunday mornings, when she's not hosting her friends at her fairy garden and offering them tea!

From classical arrangements to her own compositions, Elizabeth can play anything you request. She is known to take her audiences on entertaining journeys throughout her recitals. Her music travels through the age, mindfully transporting its listeners to the Renaissance, Baroque and Victorian eras.

Her marvellous hands will create the perfect soundtrack to your day accompanied by her Victorian harp. To find out about some of her own compositions, get in contact with her.

Her delicate tunes are the perfect complement to a wistful English country wedding, humanist blessings or a grand ceremony in a ballroom. If you have a favourite song in mind, she is more than happy to discuss requests prior to the big day.
