Award-winning wedding band, Down for the Count is comprised of a professional group of musicians, who have performed together since 2005 and can perform in various line-ups to suit different wedding themes and styles.
Over the last 12 years they have provided live entertainment to the masses, attending hundreds of events throughout the UK and internationally and have previously performed with the likes of Elton John, Russell Watson and Jason Donovan.
Their largest and most popular band is the Down for the Count Swing and Soul Band, perfect for getting your guests on the floor. Alternatively, the Down for the Count Swing Orchestra is one of the busiest bands on the UK vintage scene, and ideal for anyone looking to bring a touch of swing or jazz to their celebration.

Down for the Count offer a variety of wedding package combinations, which allow for a great line-up of entertainment. Their standard wedding package begins with your ceremony, provides background music during your drinks and food and then kicks of your wedding reception with a first dance.
You can also build you own bespoke package and receive great discounts when booking more than one line-up. Their full range of versatile ensembles are available to book as part of an entertainment package, guaranteed to give you great live music and value for money.
These fantastically talented musicians will not only provide the entertainment, but can also offer high-quality PA and lighting systems for the majority of UK based weddings. The system is suitable for audiences of up to 250-300 people, but there is also a package for larger events.

You and your band were fantastic, not just brilliant at the music but also lovely, helpful and a total pleasure to work with. You were exceptional.
They were smart, savvy and had the room rocking from the first note played. They listened when we discussed genres and delivered in spades. We were running late and they adapted to our timetable, never missing a beat. They gave us more than we could have expected and our guests from 21 to 86 were all dancing. My wife and I cannot praise them highly enough. The mixture of Standards, Pop, Motown, Swing and Rock and Roll was fabulous. At the end our guests were shouting for more!!
