Fergie and Taffy are two beautiful black and white cob horses, who look stunning next to the traditional-style carriage.
Fergie is 16.1 hands, and nearly 16 years old. She came to Devon Country Carriages from France, and had to be taught all her commands again in English! Taffy is an Irish sport horse, standing at 16.2 hands and is the friendliest horse you'll meet - she loves, and is loved by, everyone.
Both Fergie and Taffy are experienced carriage horses, knowing to pull gently so that your journey is slow and safe. The carriage moves at a speed of no more than eight miles an hour, and the maximum distance that the horses will travel to your venue is five miles.
The elegant cream carriage can be dressed with flowers, ribbons or ivy, and can be styled to fit any colour scheme or wedding theme. Inside, you will be able to enjoy the ride from the plush maroon leather seating, and even if the typical British weather greets you with rain, you'll keep cosy and dry under the wine-coloured hood. In the summer months, Devon Country Carriages can also take you in a sleek black carriage.
Your journey will be accompanied by two of Devon Country Carriages' fully qualified members of staff, and both driver and groom will be dressed in traditional livery.
