Delbury Hall

This magnificent Georgian mansion looks out over the Shropshire countryside and the surrounding lakes, woods and parkland. This setting is perfect for a rural wedding and provides a tranquil backdrop to those all-important photographs that you will cherish forever.

The extensive and versatile grounds at Delbury Hall are the perfect setting for a unique, historically interested and traditional wedding celebration, from the vows through to the first dance.

About

Delbury Hall was built in the 18th century and is a classic Georgian wedding venue with exceptional views of the surrounding Shropshire countryside.

The Coach House was renovated in 2007 and it's now completely dedicated to wedding ceremonies and celebrations. Delbury Hall also has a renovated stable building for accommodation, a pagoda, a lake and even a Saxo-Norman church at the end of the garden.

The house is surrounded by 80-acres of beautiful parkland, giving you a huge amount of space for you and your guests.

Facilities

The Coach House

This magnificent house and stable has been renovated to create a grand banqueting hall that is perfect for your wedding day celebrations.

The two-tiered room is elegantly separated by a glass and oak staircase. The large windows look out over a historic carp pool with a stunning 30-foot floodlit water feature.

Civil Ceremony capacity - 130 guests
Wedding breakfast capacity - 130 guests
Reception capacity - 150 guests

Outdoor Weddings

At Delbury Hall the outdoor civil ceremonies take place under a waterside pagoda with views across the lake, house and surrounding countryside.

Delbury Hall also offers the use of St Peter's Church located at the end of the garden, perfect for couples would like a religious ceremony.

Catering

The dedicated team of chefs at Ludlow Catering Company are behind all of the delicious meals at Delbury Hall. From a hog roast in the courtyard to canapés on the lawn, Delbury Hall will tailor make both your menu and your dining environment.

There is also a brilliant Breakfast Room available where guests can gather in the morning after the celebrations and enjoy the variety of food available. This includes, fresh fruit, bacon rolls, hot drinks and more. If there are a small number of guests, a continental breakfast is provided in each bedroom.

Accommodation

Delbury Hall's luxurious bedrooms can accommodate up to 22 of your nearest and dearest in their Stable building, featuring its original 18th century clock tower. This is conveniently placed just across from the Coach House where your main reception will take place.

All rooms are contemporary, fresh and airy and you are treated to a wonderful view of the scenic lake and lawns. Taking in the tranquillity of the Shropshire countryside is an idyllic and romantic way to spend your first morning as a married couple.
